I still couldn't believe it. Just yesterday the judges from Baked had came to our bakery. The only nerve racking thing now was knowing if Jen and I made it in the top four.
If you made it in the top four, you would have to compete with four other bakeries in a baking competition at the studios of Baked. Oh if we could only know soon.

-Before opening hour-
Jen has been bugging me all morning to call Seth. It's not that I don't like him or anything, I'm just a little nervous on making the first move.
"Marie, you have to call him!" Jen reprimands me for about the tenth time today.
"I just can't do it!" I reply while putting fresh cupcakes in the display case.
"What do you mean you can't do it? Marie, for goodness sake the guy is totally into you." She adds in.
"I don't want to get involved with him yet. I mean especially when the competition is still going on." I explain to Jen.
"Wait a minute... That's perfect!" Jen says snapping her fingers.
"Finally, now you understand what I have been trying to tell you." I say exasperated.
"No, I mean if you just go on a few dates with Seth, this could be an advantage in the competition." Jen says.
"What?! Jen we are not going to play dirty. I want to win fair and square." I said annoyed at the fact Jen would actually come up with a plan like that.
"Alright fine. I'll drop it, for now..."Jen says through gritted teeth.
"Thank you. Now help me get some more pastries in the display case." I reply

Today was a pretty good business day for Bake City. We practically sold everything!
"I'm so tired." I say to Jen sleepy.
"Well go brew yourself a cup of coffee because you are going to call Mr. Hotshot." Jen replies.
"Oh my gosh! Alright, fine I'll call him." I say a bit annoyed.
"Thank you." Jen replies, happy that I finally agreed to call Seth.
