Andrea - POV:
On November 25th Nick called me and told me the news. Bradley had died, he had a stroke while in his coma and immediately his heart stopped. I invited Nick over to comfort him but he declined. He didn't want to see anyone right now and I could understand that. If Christie had passed away I would be heartbroken and distraught too.
It was horrible not seeing Nick. I missed him so much. I missed his smile, his laugh, everything. Christie was a great way to get my mind off things, but she was with Aaron most of the time and I didn't want to be an awkward third wheel. I hung out with Rita and Ross once in a while but they had other friends and I almost seemed desperate to them. They even made fun of me for it.
I felt like Nick didn't love me anymore. I missed the Nick that was back in Aruba...the one who said he loved me and the one who made passionate love to me.
It had been four days and Nick hadn't called or texted me since hearing about Bradley's death. I decided it would be best to stop over at his place and cheer him up. After all I did miss him and I bet he missed me too.
When I made it over to his place I was greeted by Maria.
"Hey Maria is Nick here?"
She nodded sadly and opened the door wider. "He's upstairs..."
I smiled at her and stepped inside before taking off my shoes and jacket. "Thank you."
She went back into the kitchen and I walked up the grand staircase and headed into Nick's room. I opened the door and peeked my head inside.
"Knock knock..."
Nick was laying in his bed, staring at his flat screen - an episode of I Love Lucy was on. I made my way over to his bed and sat down by the end of his feet.
"Hey.."
He stared at the TV and sighed. "Hi."
I looked closer at his face and noticed he had a shiner. I gasped and leaned closer to him. "Nick?! What happened to your eye?"
He rolled his eyes and clicked off the TV. "I ran into a pole."
I smirked and grabbed his hands. "I don't believe that."
He stared at me like I wasn't even there and got up from the bed. "Well I did. But I wouldn't expect you to believe me...you never have."
I frowned at his comment and stood up too, grabbing his arm. "Nick I know you're hurting but please don't make me feel like crap."
He looked away from me and I rubbed my hands up his back. "Nick please talk to me. Tell me how you feel..."
I felt the muscles in his back tense up and he turned to look at me. "My best friend is dead...how do you think I feel?"
I didn't know what to say so instead I kissed his neck. He stood there not speaking a word so I kissed along his jaw, but he sighed and pulled me away.
"Andrea...I'm not in the mood."
I groaned and wrapped my arms around his waist. "Please Nick. Please?"
He pried my arms off his waist and shook his head firmly. "No."
I pulled at his shirt and kissed his chest. "Please..."
He didn't respond and I brought his face towards mine, kissing his lips softly. He didn't kiss me back so I tried again while gently rubbing the back of his neck. His body became less tense and I took advantage of that by grabbing the hem of his shorts, pulling him closer to me.
