Nick and I had been dating for about a good four months. We had learned so much about one another and everything was going great. He was truly the perfect guy and I didn't want to lose him.
"I heard her husband hit her with his car and drove off. Classic hit and run." Ross said, smiling mischievously as he curled a client's hair.
Rita and I laughed at him and I shook my head, leaning against a stool. "Where do you hear these crazy stories?"
Ross looked at me and dramatically crossed his arms. "Well I'm not lying if that's what you think. I read about it on my gossip blogs."
Rita and I laughed even harder and I nodded. "Oh, because the gossip blogs are so factual."
Ross rolled his eyes. "Whatever. I believe it."
I shrugged and began cleaning my station. Ross always had a fun story to tell us and it always had to do with something he read on his blogs. It entertained Rita and I to pick on him and he always fell for the bait. After about three hours of work I was about to have my lunch break when I heard the shop door open. I looked up and saw Nick standing up front, his hands in his pockets and his sunglasses on. All of my clients and employees were staring at him like he just came out of a magazine, even Ross was staring and fanning his face with his hand. I mean I couldn't blame them he did always look like a million bucks but I still didn't want all these females staring at my man. I looked at Ross and Rita and pointed to their clients.
"Hey! Get back to work. I don't pay you to stand around."
Ross rolled his eyes and Rita squeezed my arm excitedly. "Is that him? Is that Nick?"
I nodded and smiled. "Yes. Now excuse me."
I walked over to him and he pulled off his shades. "Hey baby."
He leaned in for a kiss and I turned my head away for him. He looked at me confused and I smiled awkwardly. "What are you doing here?"
He smiled. "It's two o'clock. I always take you to lunch at two."
I nodded and looked around, everyone was staring but trying to make it unnoticeable. I put my hands on Nick's chest and pushed him outside, so we could have more privacy.
"I know. But this is my job."
He shrugged. "So?"
I smiled. "I'm glad you came. But you can't just show up and try to kiss all over me and stuff."
He held up his hands. "Sorry. I forgot no PDA."
I gave him a quick kiss and grinned. "We can go to lunch, just let me get my things ready."
He nodded and laced his fingers through mine. "I'll wait in my car then."
I went back in the shop and told Rita that I was going to grab lunch and she said she would take charge while I was gone. I thanked her and headed outside to see Nick pulled out front, inside a brand new white Camaro. I rolled my eyes. How many cars did he have?

"A double date?"
Nick nodded sheepishly and rubbed my shoulder. "I know it will probably be awkward but Bradley is my good friend, and I have to do this for him."
I sighed. "If it's that important to you that you help him then okay I'll go on a double date."
He smiled and kissed my cheek. "Thanks you're the best."
So that's how I ended up at Hard Rock Cafe with Nick, Bradley and Bradley's date Caroline on Saturday night. I was really starting to regret agreeing to this because Caroline was really aggravating. First, she barely had any clothes on. And I don't count ripped booty shorts and a belly shirt that shows most of her breasts. Second, she was really whiny and nothing pleased her. Third, all she did was flirt and flirt and flirt, sometimes even with Nick and I had a hard time not telling her to back off.
"Brad baby, I'm sleepy, lets go back to your place!" Caroline whined again and I rolled my eyes.
I leaned on Nick and he smiled down at me, giving me a apologetic look. Bradley squeezed Caroline's ass and smiled flirtatiously. "Well we already ordered our food. But once we eat we can go to my place and go to sleep."
I scoffed. Yeah right, I doubt they were going to go to "sleep". Our waiter brought our food after what seemed like forever and Caroline still wasn't pleased. "I don't want salad. I should've ordered the chicken."
Nick smiled trying to be friendly. "I'm sure you can order something else."
Bradley nodded in agreement and she twirled her blonde hair around her finger. "I know but I don't want to cause any trouble."
I sighed. How much attention could a girl want? She rubbed Nick's shoulder and I was contemplating if I should break her hand or punch her. Definitely break her hand.
"Would you order again for me?"
She kept rubbing him so I pushed her hand off his shoulder. "How about you just trade plates with me. I don't mind eating salad."
Bradley smiled. "Great idea Andrea. Look Caroline! She has chicken."
Caroline shrugged and we traded plates. That kept her quiet for a few minutes until she started complaining about the temperature. When we finally left the restaurant Caroline decided she wanted to go to a drive in movie. Indecisive whore. We were watching Insidious, well Nick and I were watching if you know what I mean. I glanced at Bradley and Caroline in the front making out, practically dry humping and I gagged.
"That's disgusting."
Nick chuckled. "Tell me about it."
Nick and I were seated in the back of Bradley's truck, wrapped up in blankets, our legs hanging off the edge. I had my head on his chest and he had his arms wrapped around me, making me feel warm inside.
"Are you even watching the movie?" I said, looking up at Nick who was staring out in space.
He smiled. "I was. But, then I got distracted."
"By what?"
"I was thinking we should ditch them and go have fun somewhere else."
I laughed. "We should. But, we have no mode of transportation."
He pulled out his cell phone. "I could call a cab."
I looked back at Bradley and his whore who were still playing tongue hockey, and smiled at Nick. "Let's go."
We hopped out of the back of the truck and ran towards the entrance waiting for our taxi.

"Will he mad at us for ditching him?"
Nick shook his head and plucked away at his guitar strings. "He probably forgot we were there in the first place."
I laughed and laid back on Nick's bed listening to him strum soft melodies. "That girl is not good for him."
"Yeah. I know. Bradley always picks girls like that. He doesn't like to have steady relationships."
I frowned and Nick rested his guitar on the floor and scooted next to me, lying down and kissing my cheek. "Thanks for coming anyway."
I turned my body to face him and returned a kiss. "No problem. I was just in it for the free food anyway."
Nick laughed and stared into my eyes like I was the only girl on the planet. My cheeks got hot and I pinched his nose. "What?"
He shrugged and sat up, rubbing his face with his hands. I sat up next to him and smiled. "What is it?"
He looked at me. "I know this is random, but I want to meet your parents."
