Andrea - POV:

Tonight I was meeting Nick's dad. Nick said we were going to his father's place for dinner and I was so nervous and excited at the same time. I had to run errands for a few hours and then I got home around five in the evening to get ready for dinner. I went to my bedroom and Nick had laid out an outfit for me to wear on my bed. I smiled and picked up the note he had written.

It read: Hey, Beautiful. Put on this outfit and make yourself look pretty. I'll be there around seven. - Nick.

I grinned and examined the outfit he had picked out. It actually wasn't that bad for a guys choice. It was a long, dark red maxi dress along with some black pumps, he also laid out a gorgeous diamond necklace and a pair of earrings to match.

I took a hot shower and then I got dressed for the night. I curled my hair and put it in a classy bun and then I put on a little makeup. I felt like a pampered princess.

Around seven my doorbell rang. It was Nick and he was wearing a tux. He smiled at me.

"That dress looks wonderful on you."

I grinned. "And you know how to work a tux."

He chuckled and wrapped his arms around me. "You're so beautiful."

I kissed him. "Tell me again why we're dressed so fancy?"

He sighed. "My dad. He's a suit and tie kinda guy. Ya know, the stuck up jerk no one likes."

I laughed. "Shut up Nick."

He shrugged. "It's true. Look, if you feel uncomfortable tonight all you have to do is tell me, and we can go."

I nodded and he led me to his car.

After about an hour later of driving through the fancy and rich part of New York, Nick finally pulled up to this huge gated mansion. He pressed a button on the speaker and an old mans voice sounded through.

"Yes?"

Nick cleared his throat. "It's Nick Carr."

The gate buzzed open and Nick drove down the driveway. I couldn't believe my eyes. His dad was seriously rich. Nick's house was huge, but his dad's was just huge. I don't even know why people needed big houses like this, what was the point? It was just unnecessary space.

Nick parked in the back of the house, by what seemed to be a tennis court, and we got out. He grabbed my hand and I pointed to the court.

"Is that a tennis court?"

He nodded. "Yeah."

I shook my head. "Wow."

He pulled me towards the front and we walked up the marble steps stopping in front of the big glass double doors.

Nick knocked and we waited until a man in a butler uniform opened the door. He handed us both warm towels and I watched as Nick wiped his hands off, so I did the same.

The man looked down at our feet. "Remove your shoes please."

Nick looked at me. "My dad is a clean freak."

I removed my shoes and the man took them from me and walked away. Then he came back with clean socks and we both slipped them on. Wow, this was weird. The man gestured towards the dining room.

"Follow me."

We followed him down the mini stairs into the dining room and then he gestured to the long wooden table that was already set.
