~ Chapter Ten ~
"Wouldn't it be the perfect crime, if I stole your heart, and you stole mine?" ~ Unknown
"I can't believe this. I can't believe this. Oh my God, what if this goes on my permanent record?!" I said, flinging my arms around while I paced back and forth in the jail cell. Who knew that malls even had jail cells? I sure didn't.
Aiden sighed and put his hands behind his head as he set on the bench, "Chill out, Red. All they're going to do is call Miranda." I flung around and gaped at him. "Chill out?! We're in jail for Christ sakes! Miranda's going to be pissed." I mumbled, still pacing.
"Technically, we're in a mall jail, and trust me, there's a huge difference." Aiden said, chuckling. I'm glad he finds this amusing... asshole.
I just glared at him before turning around and gripping my hands on the bars, looking at the mall cop that brought us in here. "Sir, please, we've learned our lesson. No more grape wars in the mall, I promise. Please just let us go." I pleaded to him, watching as he sighed and looked away from his news paper, at me.
"Look miss," The officer started, "I had seven complaints filed for your little... episode. I called your guardian but got no answer so I'll call again later and hopefully she'll come and get you." My heart dropped, no answer?
"W-what if she doesn't answer?" I asked in a near whisper. He shrugged his shoulders and looked away from me, crossing his legs on top of his desk. "Then you'll spend the night."
I heard Aiden chuckle and that done it.
I started screaming and pulling on the jail bars, "Help! Please! I'm too young to go to jail!" I started banging on them and the officer completely ignored me, taking a sip of his coffee.
"Let me out of here!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, banging on the bars. I felt arms wrap around my waist and before I knew it I was being dragged away from the bars and pulled tight against Aiden's chest as he set us down on the bench.
"Un-hand me, Man Whore!" I shouted as I struggled against his hold. His warm breath hit my ear, "Abbey. Abbey! Calm down!" He tightened his hold to where I couldn't move even if I had to and spoke once more.
"Listen to me for a second, you think you could manage that?" He asked. I glared and brought my head back, hitting his nose. "Shit! What the hell was that for?!" He demanded as he released me. I ignored him and crawled over to the far wall, bringing my knees up and hugging them, still glaring at Asshole.
Aiden wiped away a smear of blood and gaped at me, "You busted my nose." He said in disbelief. I just smirked at him.
He sighed and wiped the rest of the blood of with the bottom of his shirt. He then leaned forward and clasped his hands together, looking at me. "We won't be spending the night here, Red. They aren't aloud to do that. When the mall closes, they have to let us go unless they want to get sued." He said, looking at me as if I was going to explode any second.
"Knowing Miranda, she probably won't answer when he calls again, so that gives us the opportunity to get out of this scott free. Okay? So just calm down, take a deep breath, and come give me a lap dance."
For a second there, the word nice popped up in my head as Aiden spoke to me. Then the Whore had to go an ruin it.
I glared at him and asked, "Is sex all you think about?!" He smirked at me before replying. "No. I sometimes think about you naked."
