                                                     ~ Chapter Sixteen ~

"The scariest part of falling in love, is not knowing if they're going to catch you." ~ Unknown

"Um... did he just say roommate?" Chase said from behind me and I closed my eyes in aggravation. Good job, Aiden.

I turned around with my best poker face on and a grin I'm sure he knew was too big to be true, and said, "Oh yeah, since Aiden's my sister's brother-n-law, I sleep over there all the time and we sometimes have to share a room. I know, it's horrible isn't it?" I faked a shudder and smiled in triumph when I heard him chuckle.

"I think spending anytime with Aiden, especially having to sleep in the same room as him, would be horrific." Chase said as he glanced towards where Aiden had gone.

I smiled but didn't reply, thanking baby Jesus that the crisis was averted. That's all I needed was to Chase to find out I live with Aiden and momentarily sleep in his bed room for a month, then have him spread the word to everyone else.

I didn't even want to think what Lily will do once she finds out.

Chase and I went our separate ways, both of us wanting to check out our bedrooms and put our stuff up.

I was grunting and weaving from my suitcases pressure of trying to pull it up the massive cabin steps, when an angel popped in.

"You sound like you're taking a massive shit, right now. Move out of the way." Aiden's voice said as he grabbed my suitcase with his hand that wasn't occupied with his own suitcase, and walked up the stairs.

I take that back. Satan himself had popped in.

I glared and stomped up the stairs after him. "Hey asshole! I didn't ask you to kidnap my suitcase! I was perfectly fine carrying it myself."

I had caught up to him by now since he had stopped and gave me an exasperated look, "Kidnap? It's a suitcase, Red, not a kid. And I'm sure you was fine, hearing all the grunting and everything." He said sarcastically as he rolled his eyes.

I glared at him as I crossed my arms, "You're a suitnapper then!"

"Suitnapper? Really? That's what you're going with?" He said as he bit his lip to keep from laughing.

I blushed in anger, "Well, do tell, Man Whore, have any better suggestions?"

He snorted when I called him that name and coughed into his shoulder to hide his smile. "Well it for damn sure wouldn't be suitnapper." He put both of our suitcases on the floor and put his finger under his chin, looking like he was thinking.

"Careful Aiden, try not to strain your brain." I said in laughter and he bit his lip again.

"I got it," he said as he snapped his fingers and looked at me, "The slugstealer."

I busted out laughing and replied, "The slugstealer?"

He nodded, "Yeah, like you know, s is for suitcase, and lug is for luggage, so slugstealer."

I shook my head and went to grab my suitcases when he caught my hand, "How'd Pretty Boy like the fact that I was the first one to have you in my bed." He wiggled his eyebrows and I scrunched my nose in disgust.
