~ Chapter Eleven ~
"True love is friendship set on fire." ~ Unknown
A couple of days has passed and nothing exciting has happened. And by exciting, I mean Aiden hasn't pulled not one prank on me yet. I know he will, and that the time is coming. So I've been extra cautious.
For example, as I got up this morning I made sure to be extremely quiet. My head turned from side to side, checking my surroundings for anything that seemed to be out of place. After I reached the bathroom, I checked the shower and my hair and body wash for any dye. When I found it was clean, I decided I was safe. For now.
After I got out of the shower, put on my clothes and applied what little makeup I do wear, I made my, very-careful-way downstairs.
Aiden smiling face met my hesitant one, as I walked into the kitchen. Once again, a bowl of cereal and a glass of orange juice was sitting on the counter. "Eat up." Aiden said, gesturing his hand towards the breakfast he had made.
I checked the food and drink for any smell of foul taste before digging in eagerly. I don't know what has gotten into Aiden for being my personal Betty Crocker in the mornings, but hey, I'm not complaining.
"I was thinking that before we go to school, we could stop at Starbucks and get us a coffee." Aiden said, leaning over the counter and smirking at me. I nodded with a mouthful of cereal and smiled. He nodded too and grabbed his keys. "Come on then, Piggy."
I glared and swallowed my food, before running behind Aiden to his truck.
As we was driving to Starbucks, I discreetly looked over at Aiden as he drove. Why hasn't he pulled any pranks yet? Is he sick? Is he dieing and wants to make amends?
I snorted and looked away from him, starring out of the passenger side window. I'm not that lucky.
He pulled into the drive-thru and looked over at me with a smirk on his face. "What will it be, Princess?" I smirked back at him and replied, "A mocha please, Man Whore." He rolled his eyes and told the machine what I wanted before giving his order.
I grinned when Aiden gave me my mocha a few moments later. I loved this things.
When Aiden pulled out of the parking lot and headed towards school, he turned on the radio. I flinched when loud static hit my ear drums. "Shit, Abbey reach me a CD in the floor board." He said loudly. I wanted to ask him why he had his CD's in the floor, for them to get scratched, but figured he couldn't have heard me anyways.
I put my mocha in the cup holder, before bending down to try to find that Asshole a CD. When I saw Three Days Grace's, One-X CD, I grinned before popping back up and putting it in the player.
As I sipped on my mocha some more, I saw Aiden looking at me from the corner of my eye. I looked over at him and said, "What?", when I saw his smirk.
He grinned and shook his head, before looking back at the road. "Nothing, Red. Absolutely nothing." I looked at him in confusion before shrugging my shoulders and drinking some more of my awesome coffee.
When we got to school, I was starting to feel warm and a little... buzzed. A burp flew from my mouth as I opened the truck and stepped out. I busted out laughing and heads turned in my direction. I heard Aiden chuckle as he walked up behind me, "Man, I didn't think it'd hit your system that fast." I looked at him and laughed, "What are you talking about, Man Whore?" He just winked at me. I liked that wink.
Woah! Liked? What the hell is going on? These questions played in the back of my mind, but in reality I was laughing and giggling as Aiden and I walked through the school doors.
People stared at me as I sung the lyrics to "Single Ladies" by Beyonce, as I walked towards my locker. "If you like then you should've put a ring on it. If you like it then you should've put a ring on it. Oh oh oh, woah woah." I giggled again as I reached my locker and Lil, Poppy and Winn came over.
They took one look at me then their gazes shot to Aiden angrily. "Alright, what'd you do to her." Lily demanded. Aiden smirked and crossed his arms, "Who said I did anything, Flinn?" She rolled her eyes and replied, "Quit bullshitting Aiden, what did you do to her." He didn't say a word.
I giggled when I couldn't get my locker open and slung my arms around Lily's shoulders. "Chillax Lil-Bill, I'm fine. Aiden made me breakfast this morning and took me to Starbucks, he's being nice to me so you have to be nice to him." I said, pointing to all of them.
"Did you put vodka in her orange juice again?!" Lily whisper yelled, stepping up and grabbing the front of Aiden's t-shirt in her hands. Poppy and Winn glared at Aiden and I giggled again, before stepping back and leaning my head against the lockers; watching the show.
Aiden glared at her before yanking her hands off of his shirt, "Hands off, Flinn. Only willing contenders are aloud to touch this." He said, before gesturing at his body. And what a body it was.
Wait. I wasn't supposed to think that about him was I? I shrugged and giggled as I kept my eyes on them; who cares?
Lily glared and rolled her eyes before stepping away from Aiden.
I guess Monica and her crew thought this would be the perfect time to pop into the picture. "What's going on baby?" She asked, before wrapping her arms around his neck and planting a sloppy kiss on his lips. My giggles and easy smile instantly left as I watched the display of affection.
Poppy, Winn and Lily all groaned and rolled their eyes as the slutty couple continued on as if people wasn't standing here watching them.
When they hadn't pulled back moments later, I glared. "That's enough STD spreading for you today." I said as I walked up and pulled Monica away from Aiden by her hair. She shrieked and everyone's eyes widened as I threw her to the ground. All but Aiden's. He looked like it was Christmas morning.
"You bitch!" Monica yelled before grabbing my hair and yanking me down on the floor with her. I gasped as my knees hit the tile floor.
"Oh hell no!" I heard Lily yell before I saw her get on top on Monica and punching her in the face. And that my friends, was when all hell broke loose.
Monica's clique started to jump Lily and I, so Poppy jumped in and punched one in the face. Another came after me so I had to fight with her as she tried to claw my eyes out.
Out of my peripheral vision, I saw the friend's of Monica, boyfriend's start to argue with Aiden and Winn. And before you knew it, fists starting flying.
People formed a circle and grinned ear from ear, as they recorder the huge group fight with their phones. "Fight, fight, fight!" They cheered as they pumped their fists.
I pushed Monica's friend off of me before getting on top of her and boxing her ears in. "This is how you fight. Not scratch!" I yelled over top of her screams.
"What in the world is going on!" Mrs. Logan, the principal yelled as she broke through the circle and looked at the scene in front of her. Everyone stopped and looked up at her with wide eyes.
Her face turned beet red, as she yelled. "Office! Now!" Lily, Poppy, Winn and Aiden all four met my gaze and I guarantee you we was all thinking the same thing. Shit.
