                                                     ~ Chapter Nine ~

"You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is better than your dreams." Dr. Seuss

I blew a stray hair out of my face, sighing and looking at the school's entrance. Where is that Man Whore? I shifted my weight on the truck and crossed my arms.

My gaze traveled over the parking lot, taking note that Aiden's and another vehicle was the only one's left. I was a minute more of waiting, when I heard footsteps. I glanced up and visibly relaxed, taking a step away from the truck. "Took you long enough, where have you been?" I asked, my voice filled with annoyance.

He smirked and opened his mouth to reply, but a flirtatious giggle filled the air. "Same place and time tomorrow, Aiden?" My head shot towards the voice, and found it was non other than Monica, standing at the other car that was left. I rolled my eyes, should've known.

Aiden winked at her and I faked gagged, causing them both to glare at me. I just smiled sweetly and told Aiden to unlock his truck. He rolled his eyes, telling Monica bye and unlocked the vehicle. Aiden pulled the visor down and straightened out his hair, that was sticking up wildly.

"You made me wait for," I paused and looked at the time, glaring at Aiden, "Fifteen minutes, just so you could get in a quickie?" I finished. He rolled his eyes and started the car, turning around and putting his arm on the back of the seat as he backed out. "Are you willing to fulfill my needs, Red?" He asked, turning back around and putting it in drive.

I glared at the side of his face, "I'd die first." He chuckled and replied, "That's why I have Monica, she's there when I need some" I scrunched my nose and turned away, "You're disgusting." He just chuckled.

When we got home, I realized Miranda and John wasn't there. Then I remembered her saying something about not being here yesterday and mentally slapped myself. I was alone... with Aiden. I shuddered and I heard Aiden snicker from behind me, "Excited about being alone with me, Red?" I turned around and glared, "Sickened would be the word you're looking for, Aiden." I went over and set down at one of the bar stools and watched as he held his hand up to his chest behind the counter. "Ouch, I'm not that bad am I?" He asked.

I just looked at him and he laughed, "I'm really not that bad." He stated, crossing his arms over his chest. I rolled my eyes, "You woke me up this morning with worms. Worms. Who the hell does that?" I demanded. He snickered and replied, "A genius."

I glared at him, "You're hopeless." He chuckled and came around the counter, stopping in front of me. "I'm not hopeless, or a bad person. And to prove it to you, I'm going to let you play Black Ops with me." He said, grinning happily. I just snorted.

"Who said I wanted to Play Black Ops with you?" I asked, smirking slightly. He just looked at me, "You and I both know it's you're favorite game and you love playing it." He stated. I shrugged my shoulders, "I do love playing it... just not with you." I fired.

He faked a flinch and acted like a tear was rolling down his cheek, "Your words... they wound me." He said, adding in sniffles for effect. I laughed and pushed his shoulder. "You're so dumb."

He grinned, "So you'll play." I rolled my eyes but got off the stool, "Might as well." I muttered. He nodded, the grin still on his face, and we went to his room. Or... I guess our room.
