                                                    ~ Chapter Fourteen ~

"Love is the closest thing there is to magic." ~ Unknown

A yawn escaped my lips as I carried my bags down the stairs. I spent all night packing and only got two hours of sleep; resulting in dark bags under my eyes and my foul mood.

"Ready for a vaca, Red?" Aiden yelled as he ran down the stairs, almost knocking me down them in the process. I glared and replied, "Bite me." He just turned around and winked.

We both went outside and threw our suitcases in the back of Aiden's blue F-150. I yawned again as Miranda and John came over and gave us their goodbyes. "I'm going to miss you so much!" Miranda mumbled in my hair. I think I said "Ditto," but I'm too sleepy right now to remember.

Miranda went towards Aiden and John came to me. "Take care, Kido. Watch after Aiden for me." I snorted and he chuckled. "Alright guys, love you. See you Monday." Aiden said as he climbed in on the driver side. I waved at Miranda and John as they hugged each other, and climbed in the truck.

"This summer is going to change everything." Aiden said, gazing at me. My eyebrows scrunched as my tired brain tried to process the meaning of his words. He smirked as I opened my mouth, put the car in drive, and drove to McDonalds to meet everyone.

By the looks of everyone getting out of their cars when we arrived, I'd say they didn't get much sleep either. I think the only morning person here, was Aiden.

"Woo! Alright, who's ready to party?" Aiden yelled, clapping his hands. Speak of the Devil. Everyone murmured sleepy replies and Aiden rolled his eyes. "Abbey!" I turned my head and saw Lily, Poppy, and Winn waving franticly at me. "Over here!" Lil yelled.

"Damn, you look like shit." Lily giggled as I came up to them. I glared at her and replied, "Gee... way to make a girl feel confident about herself." She laughed and Poppy spoke up. "I'm so down for this vacation! It's going to be super-squid!" I rose my eyebrows at her and bit my lip to keep from giggling. "Super-squid?" I asked.

She nodded eagerly, "Yeah, like awesome-spice!" I just shook my head and let her be.

              "Abbey?"

I turned around at the sound of my voice, and Chase's smiling blue eyes met mine. "You said four, right?" He asked. I just stared stupidly at him before saying. "Y-yeah." He smiled and my heart raced.

"Hey, I'm Lily. This bitch's best friend." Lily said as she gave Chase a knuckle touch. "Hey, I' Chase. I hope you all don't mind, but Abbey invited me to come with you guys this week, so I brought a few friends." Chase said, putting his hands in his jean pockets and smiling sheepishly, as three guys walked up behind him.

I gulped as I took them in. They were all equally gorgeous as Chase, the first one had light brown hair, second one had blonde, and the last one had dark black. All of them had light brown eyes, which sparkled as they smiled at us.

Lily turned her head and her widened eyes said, "Good job, Girl!" I blushed and turned my gaze to the ground as Lily spoke. "We don't mind at all. Chase, this is Poppy and Winn. Poppy, Winn, Chase and his friends." They all said hey and Chase began to introduce his friends to us. "Brandon," Chase said as he pointed to the first one, "Drake, and Xavier." We all smiled and said hey as he continued, "Brandon, Drake, Xavier, this is Lily, Poppy, Winn, and Abbey." Chase finished as he grinned at me. I blushed and the boys said hey.
