So this was originally chapter 25... I figured it would fit better as 26, to give you a bit of mystery
Chapter 26
•Niall•
I cried myself to sleep in the guest room of Harry's house. Pathetic, right? I couldn't help it. I had been let down, again.
Liam didn't call or text that morning either. He could be dead for all I know! I tried not to dwell on that thought. It would only make my heart hurt.
"You ok, Ni?" Harry asked, walking into the guest room. He had a tray full of my favourite breakfast foods.
"You're too nice to me," I sighed. "Yeah, I'm ok, I guess," I started to eat the food that he had brought me. We sat in silence.
"You wanna go do something today? To get your mind off things?" I looked at him curiously.
"You aren't doing anything with Louis today?"
"I was..." Harry trailed off. He shook his head, refocusing his eyes on me. "But I figured you needed me more, so I canceled."
"You really are too nice, you know." I told him, giggling.
"Movies? The fair?" He offered. I thought over it.
"The fair!" I practically shouted, making Harry giggle like a small child.
"The fair it is. Hurry and get ready. I'll start now!" With that, Harry skipped out of the spare room and into his bathroom, silently giggling the entire way.
I ate my food it what should have been record time and skipped off to the bathroom like Harry had done.
I managed to brush my teeth and pull on my clothes that Harry had left for me at the same time. I left my hair flat on my head. "Niall, are you ready yet?" Harry sing-songed from the kitchen.
"Yeah, Haz! I'm coming!" I called back, jogging into the kitchen. Harry was sitting on the counter, looking at his phone and giggling at some text that Louis had probably sent him.
"How's lover boy?" I ask, making Harry jump in surprise.
"God, Niall," He laid a hand on his chest, trying to calm himself down. "And Louis and I are just friends. He doesn't want to be anything more." I sighed at his cluelessness.
"Do you want to be something more, Harry?" I ask him, praying the answer would be what I thought it was.
"Yes," He said quietly, looking down.
"Then I suggest you tell him, before he changes his mind." I peck his forehead quickly and grab the car keys. "I'll drive. You can sit and think or sing or something." Harry nods to himself, walking over to the passenger seat.
Harry pretty much sat and giggled at his phone the entire way to the fair, not that I was complaining. His love life is going great, unlike mine. I was pretty sure I just need to give up.
"We're here, Haz," I said quietly, not wanting to startle him. He looked up at me and nodded.
"What do you want to do first?" He said excitedly, bouncing on his feet.
"Hmm... Rollercoasters?" I giggled. Harry nodded and grabbed my hand, dragging me into the park.
We rode several more rides before my stomach was audible. "Food, Ni?" Harry suggested. I nodded, and we headed off to one of the many food booths.
Harry and I each got a hot dog, and we split a funnel cake. Before we even sat down, I was attacking my food.
"Niall," Harry nudged me. "Look over there." I looked up from my food, which was almost completely gone.
I saw... Liam...
And Danielle.
Kissing.
