Chapter 24

Danielle came knocking at my door at around eight in the morning. I was only wearing my boxers, my hair was ruffled, but I still answered the door. When she was there, I almost groaned.

"Hey, Dani," I ruffled my hair and made my way to the kitchen. If she was smart she would follow me.

"Hey, Li. We are going out today! I got a day off, you've got a day off, so I set up a little date! You're going to have to hide yourself, because I am not in the mood for getting mobbed today," I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. "Now go put on some clothes; we're leaving once you get ready!" Danielle said cheerfully.

"Why at eight am?" I practically whined. She rolled her eyes.

"Do you know any teens or pre-teens that would be out at eight in the morning? No? That's why we're leaving now." I jogged back to my room after her explanation. Normally, she at least calls before she comes over.

I slid on a old batman shirt and some jeans, looking a bit like myself. Snapbacks and sunglasses do wonders, though.

"Alright, I'm ready," I told her. "Your car or mine?" Danielle grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled me in for a kiss.

"You look perfect! And your car." She guided me to the car and practically pushed me into the driver's side door, attacking me with kisses. Should she be doing this in public? Nevertheless, I kissed back.

Once our lips were swollen and red and we were both lacking air, Danielle pulled away and skipped to her own side of the car. I made sure she was in and buckled before pulling off and heading to the local mall.

"Do you really need all this stuff?" I asked Danielle. I carried around eight bags, four in each hand. And so far, I had paid for everything.

"Of course, silly! Would I be making you buy it if I didn't?" Danielle giggled as if I had told her one of the funniest jokes in the world.

I sighed. "What time is it, Dani?"

"Almost 8," We had been shopping for twelve hours. "And we're going to see a movie, so you better perk up! I don't want you falling asleep!" I groaned mentally. Another chick flick, I presume?

"What other kind of movies are there?" Danielle asked me. Did I speak out loud? I shook my head.

"Lead the way, princess."

It was almost eleven o'clock by the time we were out of the movies. "Can you drive me home, Li?" Danielle almost begged me.

"Well, what kind of boyfriend would I be if I made you walk home with all these bags?" I asked. She may be a beard, but I still have to treat her right. But one thing... Danielle doesn't know she's a beard.

She giggled. "Oh, LiLi."

We finish the ride to her flat in silence. Danielle makes sure to give me a long kiss that makes me want to squirm in my seat before climbing out. "Can you help me with my bags?" She asks in a pleading voice. I sigh mentally to myself. I should get paid for this.
I grabbed all of her bags in one hand, using the other to open the door, and place them in the doorway.

"There you go, Dani. Now, I really need to be getting home." I told her. I have Danielle a quick hug and exited her house, sighing with relief. I might actually be happy when we go on tour.
I don't bother turning the radio on as I drive back to my flat. The lads weren't still up when I got there, so I figured they were all asleep.

I was almost into a dreamless sleep when I remembered something. I forgot my date with Niall.
