Chapter 14 - Awakening

Renesmee Carlie Cullen was born September 11th, Bella had gone into labor coughing up blood, her spinal cord had snapped with Renesmee's strength, it wasn't a pretty sight, I was thankful that my Mom had Harry that day, they had gone to Port Angeles with Charlie to try and distract Charlie. Rosalie and Edward had to deliver Renesmee with the help of Jacob until he couldn't take it any longer, Carlisle was out hunting with the rest of the family. Renesmee was absolutely beautiful, she had her father's bronze her but her eyes were her mother's chocolate brown ones, she was perfect. Rose had passed her to me when Jacob had come storming into the room, we knew at that point Bella hadn't made it and hopefully the venom would work. I was scared so I screamed for Seth, I didn't want Jacob to hurt Renesmee, I didn't care if he hurt me, he had done that before but this little girl didn't deserve to be hurt, she didn't mean to kill her mom. As Seth entered the room he caught Renesmee's eye, he fell to floor, he had imprinted on her, she was now the person his world revolved around, she was his world. Nobody could harm her, Seth would always protect her from anything and anyone, which also meant Sam's pack couldn't hurt her. The Uley pack was now outside fighting the Cullen's, Jake ran outside phasing as he jumped of the porch, I had followed wondering what was going to happen. I'm guessing he had told them Seth had imprinted as they all retreated, I caught Paul's glance, it was like he didn't want to go, I didn't understand, I guess I was just reading him wrong, of course he wanted to go, he had a house with a beautiful imprint who he'd always be happy with, he had found his soulmate. I wish I was a wolf so I could find mine and finally move on from Jake but I guess I wasn't going to be able to do that, I didn't have the wolf gene.

Bella has not awoken yet but the signs she is going to wake up are there, it was her 19th birthday today however she was now frozen at 18, the Cullen's, Alice in particular wanted to celebrate it when she woke which should be anytime now. All the Cullen's apart from Rosalie left to be by Bella's side when she woke, Rose stayed with me, Jake, Seth, Renesmee and Harry, due to the rate Nessie was growing her and Harry played together due to them looking around the same age, it was quite cute to be honest. "I'm going to go back home tomorrow, I know Seth won't leave now he's imprinted on Nessie but I miss La Push Jake, I miss my home" I said speaking to Jake as we sat together, "I don't know if I want to go home Mills, dad rang me and told me that Tiffany Call, Embry's mom is moving in with him, don't get me wrong I'm happy for the Old Man but I don't know if I want to live there" Jake admitted to me, "Jake, he's happy I know it's nothing against him being happy with someone, but if you don't feel comfortable with seeing him living with another woman other than your mom you're welcome to come move in with me and Harry, he'd love his daddy there all the time and I miss all the time we used to spend together" I suggested. He didn't say anything just pulled me into a hug then finally said "I'll see what happens when Bells finds out about the imprint and if its ok then I shall take you up on your offer, thanks Mills you seriously are the best friend ever, I couldn't think of anyone better to have my son with."

Bella had woken up and gone hunting before she was to meet Ness, the Cullen's were afraid that if she didn't hunt before she met her daughter, her uncontrollable thirst would lead her to killing her daughter. She was now back, Jake was going to be the one to test out her control so he walked up to her outside, she was fine, I was the next for her to try seeing as I wasn't a 'dog' I was a human which Ness was closest too, "you smell good but I don't want to drink you, your too good of a friend to ever do that" Bella said pulling me into a hug "thank you for protecting Renesmee" she finished before asking if she could now meet her daughter, Edward led her in to where Ness and the rest of the family was Jake and me following I couldn't help but feel nervous, not because she was a newborn, not because she could drain me, Harry or Ness immediately but nervous for when she found out about Seth imprinting on Ness.
