Chapter 5 - Revelations

Two weeks had passed since my dad's funeral, no words could explain how hard that day was, it didn't help that even Seth and Leah had abandoned me now too, I literally had nobody. All my friends had abandoned me, even Bella spent all her time with Edward now she was back from Italy, I was alone and going through the hardest period in my life. I had lost my dad, my best friend and my Son was still in the hospital fighting for his little life. Rachel and Rebecca were too far away to support me, they wouldn't visit La Push no matter what but I understood, the memories of their mom were too much here, she was everywhere, just like every place I went was a reminder of something I had done with dad. Harry was peaceful today when I saw him, he just slept with his little fist gripping my pinky as hard as he could, it was the first skin to skin contact I had with him so I was glad in a way I was alone, I could cherish that moment forever knowing he knew I was there.

During the drive home I was debating whether to head straight home or head towards Sam's house seeing as Seth and Leah spent all their time there, I was ready to give them an ultimatum, they either spoke to me or I would be leaving La Push with Harry for good when he was strong enough. I was losing them as well as everyone else in my life, I wasn't strong enough to be abandoned anymore, every time someone left my life I felt as if a part of me was missing and I didn't know how much longer I could cope without my siblings. That made my mind up, I was going to Sam Uley's house and confronting my little brother and sister, my car pulled up on the gravel outside Sam's house, they all filled out of the house the moment my car pulled up, Paul exiting first followed by Jared, Jake, Seth, Leah, Sam and finally Emily, every single one of them apart from Emily was giving me a glare. "I'm here to talk to Leah and Seth, nobody else, I am not leaving without speaking to them, none of you can stop me" I said sternly, "Mia, go home please" Seth cried out as if he didn't want to say it but had to say it in order to please Sam. "No Seth, you both listen to me then. You've both ignored me since Dad died, you know I have no one, I'm falling apart you both ditched me just like everyone else did" I started looking at them Paul and Jacob flinching when I mentioned being left. Do you want to tell me what's going on? If I don't get a reply I will be leaving La Push for good as soon as Harry is strong enough and you'll never see or hear from me again." I finished speaking, my tone was extremely harsh. Seth broke at that point running towards me crying his eyes out, "Mia, don't leave please, I need you so much, you're my big sister but I can't tell you what's going on... I can't be near you anymore and it's to keep you safe but I hate not being able to be near my big sister she means everything to me" he cried, I didn't say anything but looked towards Leah to see what she had to say for herself, she didn't say anything just glared whilst running off to the forest edge. To say the events which followed shocked me was an understatement, Leah had transformed into a huge and I mean huge White and Grey wolf before she reached the tree line. My sister had just transformed into a wolf. that's the moment it hit me. The legends, Quileute's are supposedly descended from wolves, she was a protector of the tribe, they were all true. I started walking over towards her, "Mia, don't move any further she could hurt you" Sam shouted from the porch, I carried on walking towards her, "she's my little sister Sam, she wouldn't hurt me." I spat towards him, can you tell I still hated his guts. As I reached Leah I looked into her eyes before wrapping my arms around her tangling my hands in here fur, "Leah, I'm sorry I didn't know, I understand now but don't forget that I love you so much. Can you go back to your human form I really want to talk to you, I can't leave you, I don't want to lose my baby sister no matter how much she can annoy me at times, you'll always be my best friend" she simply stood up licking my face before going behind a tree, emerging in a dress Emily had thrown towards the tree Leah had gone behind.

"Took that well Mills! See Sam I told you we should have told her. It hurt her loosing everyone, she knows now, there's no reason she can't be around us, my dad even told you the legend involving her!" Jake spoke strongly towards Sam, "everyone inside, let's give them so privacy" Sam ordered as Leah walked back towards us as herself this time, "Beach?" she questioned I simply just nodded to answer not wanting to speak until we could actually speak to one another without interruptions.

Sitting on a piece of lone piece of drift wood Leah turned to me looking as if she was to start crying so I took her hand as if to comfort her "I never wanted this Mia, I just got so angry when dad died, those bloodsuckers the Cullen's caused this, bloodsuckers move into town and the wolf gene kicks in, I think Harry prevented it from kicking in with you seeing as you're the only one who hasn't phased, I never wanted to ignore you, you know how Emily was 'mauled by a bear' last year well she actually wasn't, Sam got angry she was too close that's the result, he made us stay away from you just like everyone else. Please forgive me Mia, please I need you don't leave me" Leah revealed "LeLe it's okay, I understand, I love you little sis, I won't leave you as long as you won't leave me" I sympathized with my sister, it wasn't her fault that she turned into a huge wolf and had to hang round with the ex-boyfriend who broke her heart. We hugged and started walking back to Emily's, I had told Leah that I would take her to see Harry with Seth and Jake once we had eaten so we were on our way to get Seth and Jake before going for some food at the diner in Forks.
