Chapter 13

Sydney's POV

I couldn't stop shaking. The entire ride home, Luke continuously asked what happened and if I was alright but I couldn't answer without my mind being flooded with images if Jamie.

We parked in the driveway of my house. As soon as the car stopped I jumped out and burst through the front door, going straight to Dylan and sobbing. I heard the door close and felt Dylan's head move. "What happened?"

"I don't know. I got there and she was sitting outside, crying. Then Jesse got thrown out of the club with Jamie. Jesse said 'get her home before he tries it again' or something like that. And them I speed home!" Luke explained.

The thought of everything bout tears to my eyes. Why did this have to happen tonight. Dylan looked murderous and Nate looked at me with sympathy.

Emily ,on the other hand, gasped and ran towards Dylan and I. "Omg! Are you alright?" She nearly screamed.

"I'm fine, seriously I'm fine." I replied quietly. I went to stand up but couldn't. My legs were like jelly. I started to fall but Dylan grabbed my waist while Luke grabbed my hands, both holding me up. "I'm going to bed."

I started to walk, but slowly began" to lose balance again so Emily walked me to my room. I thanked her before she left. As soon as the door was closed I got straight into bed.

I couldn't take it. Breathe. I was losing my breathe to fast. Running. Running away from what could happen. Chasing. He was chasing me and no matter how fast I was he was faster. I tripped on a twig and soon he was leaning over me with a creepy smile on his face.

"Alright honey, your not gonna scream, ok?" He asked before lowering himself so he was on top of me. I started to panic as he lifted my hand above my head and start to rip my shirt open. Shortly after he started to unbuckle my jeans......

And that's when I woke up screaming.

"JAMIE! STOP PLEASE. JAMIE PLEASE!"

Suddenly, my door burst open and Dylan, Nate and Luke ran in with frowns on their faces. Once they saw me they started to realise what was going on. I couldn't stop screaming.

"Syd, calm down. It's ok, your home, your safe. Shhhhhh" Dylan cooed.

My breathing started to slow after hearing his voice and I looked over at Nate to see him running his eyes. "Nate?"

"Yeah?"

"Go back to bed. I'm fine now, I promise." I told him. He nodded reluctantly and walked out the room so I turned to Dylan and Luke. "You to as well."

"Your not ring left alone!" Dylan said sternly.

Luke looked at me, then my brother. "I'll stay and sleep on the floor. I mean it can't be any worse than the sofa, right?"

I looked at him shocked, then slowly nodded my head. Dylan agreed and left, coming back with the duvet and pillow Luke was using. Shortly after, he kissed my forehead and left me and Luke by ourselves.

Luke was ready laying on his 'bed'. He didn't look very comfortable. I had to options, tell him to leave. Or sleep in the bed with me. I took a while to think about it, and finally made up my mind.

"Get up."

"What?" He asked surprised.

"Get. Up. Your not sleeping there, your sleeping in this bed with me. The floors not very comfortable."

"I don't think that's a good..."

"Either sleep in this bed, or go sleep on the sofa." I told him. He reluctantly got up and climbed into the bed with me.

His chest was pressed against my back. And I couldn't sleep. He was so warm, so I turn in his arms and pushed his shoulder lightly to get him to lay on his back. Once he was, I looked at his face to see his eyes open and looking down at me surprised again.

My eyes locked with his and he started leaning closer to my face. I started to lean in to until our lips finally met. It felt amazing, better than last time. I rested my hand on his cheek as he held me close with his hand on my back. His tongue swiped across my bottom lip and I opened my mouth letting our tongues wrestle.

Suddenly, I thought of Jesse and was out of my little trance, quickly pulling away ad laying my head in his chest pretending to be tired and falling asleep. I just cheated on Jesse.
