Camilla's P. O. V.

"Julian, this is beautiful. "

I grab his face and kiss him. Julian grins, "Now we're officially engaged."

I laugh and hold my hand out, the sun catching in the ring. "It's gorgeous"

Right now, Julian and I are laying outside under a tree. It's a beautiful day and we just wanted some alone time. My mom and Julian's mom are watching the kids so we can have some time.

I met Julian's parents the day before Louis' funeral. They've been so great. Apparently Julian talked about me a lot, so they felt like they already knew me. They knew how much Julian loved me, so they accepted me right away. They've been great with the kids too.

Julian sighs, "I can't believe it's been 2 months since you made the announcement. "

I grin at him, "Me neither. Listen, I'm going to visit Louis' grave and take him some flowers. John told me he wrote a letter for Uncle Louis and I promised I would take it to him. "

I grin and bend down as John runs to me, hugging me. I smile and kiss his forehead, "John, can I have the letter you wrote for Uncle Louis?"

John nods and runs over to his desk then brings it back to me. I smile and ruffle his hair, "Thanks baby. I'll make sure he gets it. "

"Thanks mommy"

I look at the mom's, "I hope you don't mind just watching him for a little bit longer. Julian is here but I don't know where he went. I'm going to visit Louis' grave. "

My mom nods, "Absolutely. You go on," She walks over to me and hugs me, "Take as long as you want, okay? I know it's hard for you. "

He stops in front of me, "Someone at the castle told me I could find you here."

I nod, "Give me 1 more second, okay "

He nods and backs away, waiting by my car. I bend down at the headstone and kiss it, "I love you, Louis. I'll be back soon."

Then I stand up and walk back to the car, "What are you doing here?"

Charles sighs and slides in the car with me, "My parents are here. I came along. I needed to see you. "

I furrows my brows, "Why are your parents here?"

"They wanted to meet the new King. "

He stops talking and picks up my hand, fingering the engagement ring. I look at him, "You left."

He sets my hand down and grabs my
face, trying to kiss me. I turn my head so his lips touch my cheek, "I'm sorry, Charles. But I'm engaged to marry a man I've loved for a long time.
