Chapter 73

Camilla's P. O. V.

"Isn't it just beautiful up here?"

I smile as I watch John running around, chasing a butterfly. Julian nods as he plays with Charlotte, "It is beautiful. But maybe we should find our own spot. "

I raise my brows, "You mean to find a spot that I didn't find with Louis. "

Julian looks at me with an almost guilty expression on his face, "Honey-"

I stop him, "Stop, it's fine. I understand, okay? "

Julian smiles and nods, "Okay good. You know what I was thinking about earlier?"

I raise my brows, "What?"

"Having another baby"

I grin, "You want another one?"

Julian nods, "Absolutely. "

I laugh, "I want another one too. But not just yet. Charlotte is still so young."

Julian nods, "Of course. Whenever you're ready. "

I sigh and lean back, closing my eyes, letting the sun soak into my skin.

Julian says, "I love you. "

I grin and open my eyes, "And I love you. "

John comes running over, jumping in my lap. I laugh and sit up, grabbing him, "Hey buddy!"

He sits down in my lap and grabs some grapes, popping them in his mouth, "Can we go get some candy?"

I smile and run my hand through his hair, "Well, daddy has to work. So we should probably get back home. But I'll take you to the store after we drop daddy off, okay?"

John smiles and nods. Julian and I start packing everything up then walk down to the road, getting in the car. Our security drive us back to the palace.

We go inside and stop in the door. I kiss Julian, "I'll be back. I'm going to take John to get some candy. "

Julian smiles, "You're a great mom. I'll see you guys when you get back. Be safe. "

I take John's hand and grab Charlotte in my arms, walking back out to the car. I say to the driver, "To the candy store in town please"

I walk John into the store then say, "Alright. Go pick out your candy"

He trots off, going through the store, looking at all the different candy. I walk Charlotte around, bouncing her up and down.

"Oh my gosh. Your Majesty"

I turn and see a woman, who immediately curtsys at me. I smile at her, nodding my head, "Hello. What is your name?"

She stutters, "M-my name is N-Nicole"

I shake her hand, "It's lovely to meet you, Nicole. "

She looks at my with wide eyes and looks as though she's going to pass out. I smile at her, "Hey, it's okay. Calm down. I'm just a normal person. "

She shakes her head, "No, you're not. You're the Queen of France. Is the future king here?"

I laugh at her eagerness, "No, he's not. But he is quite handsome, isn't he?"

The girl blushes, nodding her head. John walks up, "Mommy, I got my candy"

Nicole quickly says, "Can I take a picture with you guys?"

I grin, "Absolutely. "

She hands her phone to someone else and the four of us cram together, taking a picture. Nicole grins at me, "Thank you so much, Your Highness. "

then she walks out. I laugh and go to the front of the store, paying for John's candy. After we pay, we go out and get
into the car, going back to the palace.
