Camilla's P. O. V.

It's been a week and Charles and his parents are still here. I suppose I could tell them to leave. But I don't want to make any enemies. I'm just trying to figure out who's ruling their country while they're here.

"I was thinking we could go into town today and go shopping. How does that sound?"

I smile at Loraine, "I don't really go into town anymore unless it is completely necessary. "

"Why not, dear?"

I sigh, "I've been attacked in town. So I don't like to go there. "

Loraine gasps, "That's terrible! What happened to the people that attacked you. "

I shrug, "It was a huge group of people. I didn't want to put that many to death. So we handled it in our own way. "

Loraine nods, as if she knows not to ask anymore questions. "Alright. Then we can do something here. "

I bite my lip, "Actually, Loraine, I have some work to do. As much as I wish being queen was just about dresses and parties. But I actually have some things to do. So I'll see you later, okay?"

She nods so I quickly walk away. I go into Julian's office, shutting the door behind me. He looks up at me, amused, "You escaped her?"

I give him the evil eye, "She wanted to go into town. I told her I had work to do. I was actually thinking of going to visit Louis' grave. "

"Again? Darling you were just there."

I nod, "I know. Maybe I shouldn't. "

"Yeah, you're probably right. "

I sit down in the chair across from his desk, "I have to do something to keep Loraine away from me. "

"How about you start planning Charlotte's christening. "

I grin, "That's a great idea! I knew I kept you around for a reason. "

Julian laughs, "You're mom is all ready to help. She's in your study waiting for you. "

I lean across the desk and kiss him, "Thank you. I love you. "

Then I quickly go from Julian's study, to my own. I shut the door and look at my mom, "I'm trying to avoid Loraine."

My mom laughs, "Honey, me too. She constantly asking me if she can go see the kids. "

I shake my head as I sit next to my mom, "She wants me to be with Charles. And it's like she already looks at the kids as her own. She's going to try and push herself into our lives as much as she possibly can. Hopefully she stops after the wedding. "

My mom grins, "Hopefully. "

"Are you happy? Living here?"

My mom laughs, "Absolutely, honey! Being here with my daughter and the love of her love. And with my grandchildren. I couldn't be happier. "

I rub my neck, "And you don't think I'm a bad person.. for leaving America and becoming Queen?"

She quickly shakes her head, "Not at all! Cami, you're happy. And you're happiness is all that I care about. "

I smile at her, "Thank you. "

She kisses my forehead then says, "Alright. Let's get to planning her christening. "
