Chapter 19

Camilla's P. O. V.

"Oh my gosh, Louis! This is gorgeous."

Louis smiles as I stare in shock at the necklace, "I'm glad you like it. "

Louis takes the necklace out and comes behind me, sweeping my hair to one side. He slowly fastens the necklace, letting his hands graze against my shoulders.

I turn around and set my hand on his face, kissing him. The kiss starts to deepen but a knock on the door interrupts us.

I pull away, "Who is it?"

"It's your mother, dear. "

I clear my throat, "Come in"

My mom walks in, "Oh I'm so sorry! I didn't know you were in here, Louis. I'll come back later. "

Louis shakes his head, "No, it's alright. I need to go take care of some things anyway. "

Louis looks at me and quickly pecks me on the lips, "I'll see you at dinner, love."

I nod as he walks away. Louis shuts the door behind him. My mom walks over and sits down next to me on the bed. I tilt my head, "What's up?"

My mom smiles and grabs my hands in hers, "I am so happy that you're happy. We love Louis. You seem happy with him and I'm glad he makes you so happy,"

I furrow my brows, "Where's this going?"

My mom smiles at me, "I just wanted to give you your father and my blessing. "

I pull her into a hug, "Thank you, Mom. You have no idea how much that means to me. "

"Where's Louis been? He hasn't been around much these last couple days. "

I sigh as Angela and I walk around the gardens, "I know. He's been really busy. "

Angela looks at me, "Do you realize that this is what your life is going to be like? He'll always be busy. "

I nod, "Yes, I realize that. And sure, I miss him and I get lonely sometimes. But I love him. And he loves me. So it's worth it. "

Angela grins, "As long as you're happy, that's all that matters. "

I smile at her, "Thanks, Ange. "

"I was really thinking about what you said. About me staying here. "

I nod, "Yeah?"

"I think I'm going to stay. Hopefully meet someone. "

I grin, "We have a party scheduled for tomorrow night to announce our engagement. There will be plenty of gorgeous eligible bachelors there! Yay! I'm so glad you're going to stay. "

Angela and I hug each other, "I am too"
