"Rodriguez! Another delivery!" Her boss, Mario [RefEReNCeS coz she works at a pizza place] yelled at her with his Italian accent.

"Coming!" Bella replied with a wince. She hated food; she absolutely despised it. Just looking at it wanted to make her throw up. It made her sick.

Mario handed her the boxes while she grabbed the keys from his twirling fingers, giggling a bit when he would jerk his hand away in a playful manner.

"Don't stay too long, aye?"

"Okay."

Mario had been her second father ever since her real one had died and her mother had taken to caring for Bella's younger siblings: Ariana, Rico, Maria and Leo.

Yes, Bella had a big family. Leo and Ariana were twins at the age of eight years old, Maria was ten and Rico was twelve - almost thirteen.

She got into her car and drove off.

After she had delivered the pizzas Mario had told her to go home and get some sleep because she looked exhausted, apparently.

She was hungry, but she knew she couldn't eat. She would just wait until her stomach stopped growling.

But it didn't.

She held her stomach with one stick-thin arm and tried to stop the growling. Again, it didn't work.

She groaned and drove home, immediately going to the refrigerator [a.k.a. the fridge] and stared at the food. Leftover pizza, half a head of lettuce, some milk and a quarter of a chocolate bar from Maria, probably.

She sighed and called up one of the few people she could trust.

"Mali, can I come over?"

"Uh yeah, but Calum's not in the best of moods.

"I don't care, I need to come over. Now."

"Okay. Should I come pick you up?"

"Nah, I'll drive." [halsey reference? what? no.]

She changed into a pair of jeans and a fluffy purple sweater.

She didn't bother with make-up; she didn't need it. Her face was always clear, not to mention she never had her cycle of the month considering her weight was way too light for her to fall pregnant.
