"Do you think he's alright?" Mali asked, twirling a strand of hair around her finger. It seemed to be a nervous habit of hers.

"I don't know," Ashton admitted, sitting on the couch, sitting down with his head in his hands.

Mali looked at him and sighed. The three other boys were basically Calum's other family. That was why she was worried that if they couldn't figure out what was wrong, then she wouldn't know what to do.

Would Bella help? Nah, she wouldn't. She wasn't Dr. Phil.

Calum came downstairs a few minutes later dressed in a black sweater pulled up to his wrists and boxers.

"Cally!" Mali shouted, rushing over to him and giving him a tight hug. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, Mama," he replied with a smile.

She gave him another tight squeeze before letting him go and pressing a light kiss to his forehead. 

"You guys are adorable." Michael wiped away a fake tear.

When did he get here? Mali wondered, but kept the question to herself.

"Where'd you come from?" Ashton asked.

"My mum's vag-"

"Ew, gross!" Ashton blocked his ears. "My ears are too delicate for that kind of language." 

Michael laughed.

He was actually afraid of what their reactions would be when he came downstairs. They were all completely normal.

However, Mali immediately came up and gave him a very tight hug.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, Mama." He smiled. It felt like Mali was his second mother so with her name starting with "Ma" he liked to call her mama.

Michael came downstairs later.

"Where'd you come from?" Ashton asked.

"My mum's vag-"

"Ew, gross!" He cupped his hands over his ears. "My ears are too delicate for that kind of language."

Michael laughed. It seemed like they had all forgotten about Calum's breakdown until Michael texted him.
