Scarlett Rodriguez;

"Nate" I say through the phone as I get my stuff from the car getting off.

"Hey Scarlett" he nervously says through the other end

"Hey, hey sorry I didn't answer I was driving and I got your message to call you ASAP"

"Yeah, I was going to ask you something but I figured in person was better then chickened out so just wait until you get to your office" he rambles on

"Ok I will be there any minute, bye Nate" I chuckle after he says goodbye I hang up.

I enter my office and set my things down closing the door behind me.

I look ahead of me and see a big beautiful red box with a silver bow on my desk.

It came accompanied with beautiful red roses.

I walked over to my desk admiring it all.

Every single little detail,
Every single inch of everything,
Every single rose.

Stuck between the bow and the top of the box was a cute red envelope which was hard to tell since it was also red.

I looked at the front and smiled before I turned it around and carefully opened it.

Scarlett, we have only know each other for a few weeks I would say now. and in those few weeks I have grown feelings I have never felt before, which is odd for me. I was determined to do this in person but then I chickened out which you probably already know about...then I was going to do it through phone but that failed as well so this was my last option and along with it I thought a nice gift would be great. open it and inside you'll find another note, smaller, I really hope you will accept :)

I smile and put the note back into the envelope. I undo the bow not wanting to undo it because of how pretty it was.

The bow came off and I set it aside before lifting the lid off the box.

There was tissue paper covering what he had bought but a small card on top.

Will you Scarlett Rodriguez go out with me sometime?

I smile as I read the little card, gosh was he cheesy but cute

If so, here's a little something to wear..hope you like it :)

I set the card down and take the tissue paper off and before me laid a red silky length floor dress with little silver detailing.

I was practically speechless, this dress was stunning.

"Is that a yes?" I hear someone say.

I shoot my head up and stood Nate smiling, his dimples becoming visible by the second.

"This dress is incredible, but yes Nate I'll go on a date with you" I smile as he relaxes and comes over to hug me.

"I'm so glad you said yes" he mumbles into my shoulder.

okok this was cheesy af but cute. and yes I did dedicate a whole chapter just to Nate asking her out, sue me. I know it's short but there will be exciting chapters coming soon I promise, I have so much planned for this story!
