"Jack" I say softly "don't" he says not looking away from the plain white wall ahead of him.

"Did you really think I wasn't going to find out?" he said anger laced in his voice "how could you? Scarlett out of all the people, It had to be you. the one I am madly in love with?" he continues disbelief soon taking over his tone of voice.

"Jack, I'm sorry" I say looking down at my now fiddling hands "you aren't sorry, you're just sorry you got caught" he got up leaving the room and soon a door slams shut.

I'm a horrible person.

I hear the door open again and footsteps coming up the stairs "Scarlett" my heart pounding out of my chest at the sound of his voice

"Hayes" I breathe out water pooling in my eyes and with one blink the tears come rushing down.

"Hey, hey" he says coming towards me hugging me "don't cry" he coos, I shake my head. how could I not cry, I hurt him. I hurt Jack. I hurt everyone.

I look up at him, his hand rubbing my back comfortably "what happened to your lip?" I question sniffing "Jack" he chuckles touching his lower lip that now had a cut.

"I was coming to talk to you, since you mentioned something about Jack coming later from work today but" he says laughing "I was walking up the porch when the door opens and Jack appears slamming the door behind him and he got mad and punched me"

I gasp "oh no, I'm sorry" I apologize for jacks actions "don't worry i didn't hit him back" he assures me as if he knew I was going to ask. I nod my head giving him a weak smile.

"He found out?" He questions as I lay my head on his chest "he found out." I mumbled "sorry" he said now apologizing "it's not your fault I should have told him the moment I saw him today" I sigh

"Hayes" I whisper my voice cracking "yeah?" he replies looking up from his phone

"I don't know how to tell you this" I sigh, sitting up from his bed in which we were both laying down "you can tell me anything" he assures me "don't be afraid to"

"This is something big and I just don't know how to say it" I tell him a tear slipping down my cheek "hey, hey" he says wiping the year away, embracing me into a hug "don't cry, what's wrong?" he coos

"Hayes, I'm pregnant" I cry into his chest, he stops rubbing my back and pulls me away from his chest to look at me "you're what?" he says in shock

"Please don't make me repeat it" I whisper, tears still falling down my face "you - you can't be" he quickly says panicking "are you sure?"

"Yes Hayes, I missed my period and I thought that was normal because it happens at times. then I took a test just to be sure and it came out - positive" I say in sobs "I'm sorry"

"I - I don't know what to say, or do. I'm sorry" he says getting up from his bed heading downstairs while I sit on his bed in his room crying.

"Me too" I whisper and get up exiting his room and heading downstairs, opening his front door and leaving to my house.

and from that day forward, never have I heard about Hayes.

"Scarlett?" Hayes says breaking my train of thought "hmm" I hum so he knows I'm there with him "what's on your mind?" he questions "nothing important" I sigh

"Are you sure?" I smile and nod assuring him "okay" he smiles "let's get you to your bed, it's been quite a night" he chuckles and I nod "I can get in bed perfectly fine by myself" I say to Hayes as he unfolds my sheets

"I know that" he says as I take a seat on my bed. he comes to me giving me a hug and places a kiss on my forehead "sleep tight and I'll see you in the morning" he mumbles before covering me up in my sheets, shutting off the lamps

I lay in bed and call his name out before he exits my room "stay with me, please" I say "okay" he says coming on the other side of the bed and takes his shoes off along with his jacket laying down under the sheets.

We lay face to face and I smile, as he returns the smile. His hands grab my waist under the sheets pulling me closer to him.

He looks into my eyes and then down at my lips, then returning back to my eyes. He leans in planting a kiss on my lips and I immediately kiss back. I smile into the kiss and he pulls away looking at me.

"I love you, i don't know how to stress that enough" he whispers getting a smile in return from me

"I love you my - baby daddy"
