Third Person

Date Night

Scarlett got ready curling her hair, putting on make up slightly, and basically doing all the necessary things she had to do to get ready for this date.

She was a nervous reck. She wasn't out in the 'date world' much mostly because she had a child to worry about most of her time. She'd only gone out with a few guys which is crazing considering she is only 19.

Hayes you might ask. Hayes on the other hand couldn't handle the fact that she had a date. Especially with a guy he basically despised, he didn't have to get to know him to know that he wasn't good for Scarlett because he knew that the only good person for her is himself.

He couldn't tell her that, he just wouldn't. Although years have passed Hayes was the same, a humbled, charming guy, who like Scarlett puts others happiness in front of theirs.

And that's what attracted one another to each other, but Scarlett still doesn't figure that out as for Hayes he's known that since the moment he saw her back at the store.

"How do i look?" Scarlett asked Hayes and her little girl nervously "Like a queen!" Alanis shouts out making them both laugh "Thank you baby" she replies, still awaiting on Hayes' response. She turns to him and he shakes his thoughts out of his mind.

"You look beyond gorgeous" Hayes finally replies. Knowing hayes response Scarlett was much relaxed knowing the one person she cared the most about approved, excluding Alanis. 

Scarlett was wearing the red length dress with silver heels, her hair in neat yet messy curls with slight make-up, and a matching set of accessories.

There was a knock on the door that made Scarlett jump at the sound of it. She was a nervous wreck with bad scenes that could happen running through her head constantly.

She got up and opened the door revealing Nate in a nice black suit, flowers in hand.

"You look- wow" Nate was just as nervous as Scarlett. He was lost at words when he saw her standing there. "Same goes to you" Scarlett chuckles as she grabs the flowers that Nate handed her. 

"Shall we" Nate says as he steps aside so she can walk out the door. She simply nods and tells Hayes and Alanis that she will be leaving. Before Hayes knew it she was gone and on her date with Him.

It hurt him knowing she walked out the door with Nate and not him. It was killing Hayes and she didn't know it.

But Hayes chose to not tell her and he knew what he was taking on when he would keep silent. He silently prayed that the date would go bad so that maybe one day he could be the one to take her on a date.

But to Hayes luck the date was going fantastic.

stuff bouta get down, jk, maybe, idk yet. i decided to make this a third person type of chapter because i didn't want to keep changing points of views to tell how they feel so i thought third person was the best. but anyway! this story is already at 1k+ reads! that insane and I'm so grateful!! love you all sm!
