Scarlett Rodriguez;

"Good morning shit heads" I say yawning as I enter the kitchen

"Little devil 101 in the kitchen" he says referring to Alanis "true" I say looking at her as she plays with her pancake

"Don't ever say that. do you understand me" I scowl Alanis as she looks at me with wide confused eyes "unless you have to" I shrug

Hayes laughs shaking his head "you have pretty great parenting" I pout crossing my arms over my chest

"I'm pretty great if I do say so myself" I laugh sitting on the counter as Hayes makes pancakes

"You make pretty awesome pancakes, especially as you stand there. cooking. shirtless" I tell him taking a pancake and eating it.

"Get a plate ya nasty" he says yanking the pancake out of my hand putting it on a plate.

After we finished eating I headed upstairs to change.

I came back down and saw Hayes cleaning up.

"You don't have to clean up, I'll do it myself when I get home after work" I sigh leaning against the door way to the kitchen.

"It's no bother. you come home late and tired and this will just put another weight on you and I certainly don't want that" he says coming up to me and placing a kiss on my forehead.

"You're so cheesy" I groan as he laughs before I join.

"Mommy" alanis whines tugging at my dress pants "yes baby" I say looking down at her.

"Movies" I sigh and pick her up "all you want to do is movies, hope Netflix and Chill doesn't exist your time"

"Ignore your mother" Hayes intrudes "you have daycare baby, mommy has to work and I have to run some errands"

In my defense it's true, I don't want my daughter 'chilling' while watching a movie.

If you're going to watch a movie keep it PG.

Wow, okay need help ASAP.

"Okay I have to go see ya'll at five or four depends" i inform before giving them both a kiss on the forehead, yes including Hayes.

"Bye" the both say as I exit the house.

I get a call as I back out the drive way. It was Nate, my co-worker.

Should I answer it, should I not.

Before I could decide it stopped ringing before a buzz went off.

I would check it but texting and driving is never good.

I decided to wait just until I got to work.
