It's been about at least a month since Scarlett basically kicked me out of her house because of Nathan.

Honestly, I don't get what she sees in him. I thought that at least by now she'd stop seeing him.

I miss her, so, so much.

We haven't spoken or tried making any contact whatsoever but I really want to see Alanis.

She's my little girl, whom may I say, I've grown attached to.

I got a job working at a business company. It's pretty easy actually and it pays very good.

I still live at my somewhat big apartment since i see no use in getting a house.

I'm comfortable here. it feels a little weird since I'd spend most of my time at Scarlett's place.

But there's no doubt in me that we are meant to be together, we will be together soon and i know it.

Even if we weren't going to end up together I had to believe in something to keep me going because that's the only thing I've got right now.

The hope of winning my family back.

I hear my phone buzz and I grab it reading the message off the lock screen

Scarlett: Alanis wants to see you...I do too. Can we talk?

Hayes: Yeah come by my apartment and we can talk. Bring Alanis as well if you can

Scarlett: Actually I want to talk to you alone if that's fine.

Hayes: Uh yeah of course

Scarlett: I'll bring her afterwards, don't worry. I'll be there in a few.

Today was a Saturday so I didn't have to worry about work until Monday again.

I decided to take a quick shower before Scarlett got here.

I hear a doorbell and I was just in time. I quickly put on my boxers and basketball shorts grabbing a shirt in my hand and heading towards the door.

I open the door and there she stood beautiful as ever.

"Come in" I say moving aside so she can walk in. I close the door after she walks in and we sit on the couch.

I put my shirt one fully now as we begin to talk.

"Hayes" she begins "I'm sorry for the way I acted. It was wrong of me to do that and it feels like I'm always saying sorry to you and you always forgive me and I'm sorry for that too" she says laughing a little at the end as I join her

"If you would like to come back and stay with Alanis and I you are more than welcomed." I smile and nod

"What about Nate. I mean I'm glad you found someone, I truly am but I don't like him all that much" I say being honest with her.

"It's fine you won't have to worry about him anymore" she informs me looking at her nails then back up at me "why?" I question

"Well, um we aren't together anymore"
