Scarlett Rodriguez;

"I am very efennnnn tired" I groan taking a seat on the couch with alanis and hayes

"Of what" Hayes chuckles "all you've done all day is lay in bed" he adds

"A girl on her period is forever the most tiring shit ever" I inform him taking the bag of chips him and alanis had for themselves

"That's mine!" Alanis argues before giggling "not anymore" I say hugging the chips grabbing a hand full and stuffing it in my mouth "mommy" she whines

I look at Hayes who is looking back and forth between Alanis and I "don't look at me, but you should get your own chips" he shrugs laughing

"You guys are rude and mean and disrespectful and all of the above!" I bark getting up and heading into the kitchen to grab my own bag of chips

"Hey gorgeous" hayes says from behind me wrapping his arms around my wait, placing a kiss on my cheek

"Hey ass face" I say back opening the bag of chips I got myself. he turns me around and looks down at me

"I'm forever glad you're back in my arms" I smile in awe and give him a peck "we should go out to eat - all of us" he smiles and I agree

"As the odd family we are" I chuckle at his words that were also oddly true but it doesn't matter because it's true - were odd but I didn't mind it one bit

"Change Alanis will you?" I say "what are you going to be doing exactly?" I laugh and shrug "I have to get ready, besides you get ready faster" he shakes his head and smiles before agreeing

"Awesome love-" I stop myself before saying the three words, was it too soon? "Love when you help me out!" I laugh giving him a peck on the cheek before heading upstairs.

I get something casual, but cute but - casual. I hear a slight knock on the door and Hayes appears at the door way

"Are you done?" He smiles, I nod and smile before grabbing my jacket and heading towards him.

"You look stunning" he says looking down at me - hence the fact that I have booties on and I'm still short.

"Thank you handsome, how's Alanis looking" I smile "just a stunning as her mother" he informs me placing a kiss on my forehead and grabbing my hand in the process.

We head downstairs Alanis ready to go sitting down on the couch wax thing Dora the Explorer.

"Let's go baby" I call out and she quickly turns getting off the couch and running towards us

Hayes heads to the living room turning the tv off and the light off.

Not long after were in the car and ready to go eat because quite frankly I was starving right now, whoops.

We stop by a restaurant that look oddly familiar and get off walking into the restaurant

"Hi, reservations for three" Hayes informs the lady working at the small booth just before entering the restaurant "ah, yes hello mr.grier your table is ready"

We follow her to a table and sit down getting menus placed in front of us "why does this restaurant look so familiar?" I ask him while looking through the menu

"It's the restaurant I first took you to on our first" I cut him off and smile "date" I finish off his sentence, he chuckles nodding

"Mommy I want ice cream" Alanis pipes in making us laugh "after your dinner Alanis" I say as her face expression changes into a pout

She turns to Hayes and smiles - her cute 'please daddy' smile. you know the one when you were a kid and you wanted to have something you couldn't get from one parent, yeah that one.

"Sorry baby" Hayes shrugs "mommy's right" she pouts yet again crossing her arms over her chest

"Sassy little thang" Hayes teases her and she laughs "wow what you do for her" I laugh

Not soon later we get order our food and get it fairly quickly.

"Our 4 month anniversary of being together is coming up" Hayes says out of the blue. I nod "our I've known you since high school anniversary is coming up" I laugh

"That was overdue a long time ago" he chuckles "I know, i was joking. like is that even a thing?" we laugh together and I continue "I can't believe I've known you since high school" I smile

"Wasn't that long ago actually" I look at Alanis and smile "yeah but it feels like forever"

"Excuse me here's the desert you ordered" the waitress says handing us our desert and to Alanis which basically made her whole night

She place forks and napkins besides our plates before she excuses herself. 

I pick up the fork to dig into my delicious looking chocolate cake and when I pick it up I see something - on the fork.

"Oh my gosh" I gasp Hayes stands up and grabs my fork taking the ring out, he gets on one knee besides me and hold the ring out while all the attention in now on us

"I love you Scarlett I love you so god damn much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you and with our beautiful family - will you Scarlett Rodriguez marry me?"
