Lynx hates to be alone, so when her mother told her that she was sending her on a trip to Tokyo all by herself she was less than thrilled. She absolutely loved Tokyo and didn't want to give up the opportunity, but she couldn't go alone and she would have to tell her mother this.
"Mum I'm sorry I absolutely love Tokyo and I really want to go, but I can't go alone. I'm sorry but it's just too dangerous, especially with my conditions. Maybe you can get your money back." She knew that she might regret not going later, but she knew it was for the best.
"Honey I wasn't going to send you alone, I called one of your lovely friends to go with you. Their mother already agreed the whole trip is set up for you two."
"Really, well who did you call mum?" Lynx was expecting her to say Lizze, or maybe Luke, but she was wrong.
"Nope. I called that lovely Lauren girl you're always talking about."
You can probably guess that Lynx was less than thrilled about this. She wasn't about to give up the opportunity though, as it seemed like a blessing to her after she thought it over.
She would get to spend the whole week in Tokyo with her favorite person on the planet. After patching the misunderstanding up with her mother she ran to her room to pack.
She put in some comfy clothes to wear for the flight, and some of her most pretty outfits for the actual trip. She threw in dresses and the accessories to match them. This was going to be the best trip ever.
When Lynx finally got to the airport she immediately spotted Lauren. She was standing there looking hot as ever in her sweatpants and tank top. It isn't fair, Lynx thought, that Lauren looked good even in airplane clothes.
"Hey Lynx," Lauren greeted her, "are you ready for the flight?"
"Ready as ever Lauren." Lynx replied, the smile on her face wide beyond her control. Lynx looked Lauren once more when suddenly Lauren's phone buzzed loudly.
"Who's that Lauren?" Lynx asked, sure it was a protective parent or a friend.
"Just my girlfriend, she's so cute lately." Lauren replied.
Lynx felt like she was going to throw up.
