Lauren would have hoped that her and Lynx could have picked up right where they left off. That didn't happen though, they more so just talked awkwardly every morning, and even after Lauren moved back in, nothing got better.

Lynx noticed it more than Lauren did. She noticed that Lauren didn't want to hold her hand as much anymore. She wouldn't hold Lynx like she used to, and she would ignore her whenever Lynx talked about going out to do something.

One night Lynx decided to go for a walk, thinking that maybe the cool night air would help her settle her stomach. Lynx never could've known how wrong she was.

As Lynx was walking she got farther and farther away from the main road, and got closer and closer to an old grocery store that sold random items at cheap prices.

The store was quite small. The items in the store were interesting though, and they kept Lynx entertained while she gathered her thoughts.

She didn't know, however, that at home Lauren was having a hell of a time.
