By now Lynx had decided that she hated this school and everyone in it. But she soon realized that she wasn't the only person that hated people in the school.
It didn't really make Lynx that mad that people were talking about her behind her back, but it did bug her when they started teasing her to her face.
It started out as simple things like name calling, and sometimes they would accuse her of doing things she had not done. But Lynx didn't want to bother Lauren with it so she simply put up with it.
These harmful words turned into scratches and hair pulling. Which turned into full on punching and even stealing some of her things. Lynx didn't say anything.
Lauren didn't find out until she witnessed it herself, while going to her math class. Lauren stared at the girl that once was Lynx, cowering and letting these simpletons beat her down. Lauren wasn't having any of this. She couldn't just go beat up the kids, as she was already hated by the staff and by the principal. So she settled for Lynx's mum. The only person besides her that would truly care.
"You know homeschooling seems like quite a good parenting method these days." Lauren suggested.
But Lynx's mum simply put it off as 'they just didn't like the school'. Lauren knew she had to get some way for them to leave that school. Lynx was becoming more dead-like by the hour.
