Lauren had woken up and noticed that Lynx was missing. Lauren frantically searched the house, and still couldn't find any sign of her.
Lauren called Lynx's cell phone, only to have it ring on the counter beside her. Lauren felt her heart sink when she discovered that Lynx had not taken her cell phone.
Lauren took one last check around the house, then ran out the front door and started to search the streets.
Meanwhile, Lynx had finished looking at all of the weird items in the store, and was preparing to walk home when she saw Lauren a bit down the street.
Lynx didn't feel like talking to Lauren, so she bolted out the door and ran past her on the street.
Lauren saw Lynx run past her at lightning speeds and turned around quickly trying to keep up with her. She couldn't. Lauren could only hope that Lynx had decided to go home. She hadn't.
