Lauren had no idea what to do. So she filmed them. She filmed Lynx getting the shit beat out of her even though all she wanted to do was punch the girls in their faces.
After she had filmed it she left the video on her screen and set it on Lynx's mums bed with the play button ready and waiting to be pushed. Later that night Lauren knew that Lynx's mother had watched it because she heard screams.
Lynx's mother ran into the room, shouting. Lynx had no reaction, but when her mother's arms wrapped around her Lynx's eyes widened. It seemed to break her from her deathlike trance.
Lynx started to cry and reached out for Lauren. Lauren got closer and all three of them sat there. A crying hugging heap until they had all calmed down.
That was the night that Lynx's mum decided to take both of them out of school and homeschool them.
