Lynx had decided to hide out her night in the 24 hour convenience store. But as soon as she got there she realized that she probably wouldn't be able to sleep any in the store. They didn't have any beds displayed, or any other furniture that could work.
Lynx admitted defeat and started to walk home. She didn't exactly remember where her flat was, but she could see the very top of her building, so she would figure the rest out when she got there.
Distracted by her thoughts and upset by what had happened Lynx wasn't really paying attention to where she was headed. And she certainly wasn't paying attention to the car that had sped around the corner and now smashed into her.
She also hadn't seen Lauren, heading home and just about to cross the street when she had suddenly seen Lynx be ran over by a very intoxicated driver.
Lauren started crying and called 911. There was blood everywhere, and when Lauren tried to make Lynx get up off of the road she couldn't feel a pulse in her wrists.
