When Lynx woke up the first thing she noticed was that Lauren had stopped reading. She leaned in closely trying to get as close to Lauren as possible.
When the sky started to darken Lynx shuffled around in Lauren's lap until she was kneeling over her. Lynx leaned down and kissed every part of Lauren's face that their positions would allow.
Lauren laughed in a deep tone as she woke up.
"What is it Lynx? Ready for the next chapter?"
Lynx shook her head no and gestured to the sky.
"It's dark. We need to go to sleep or we are going to be dead tomorrow." Lynx laughed.
Lauren pulled Lynx closer and whispered in her ear sensually.
"What do we need to do tomorrow?" Lauren whispered.
Lynx whimpered and tried to tell her, failing miserably.
"We need to at least get off of the balcony, everyone can see us out here." Lynx stuttered.
"What do you think they're going to see?" Lauren giggled.Lynx blushed and tried to sit up from Lauren's grasp. Lauren laughed and followed Lynx into their house without any further interruptions. As they settled into bed Lauren pulled Lynx close against her, and for the first time in a long while it felt like life was looking up for the better.
In the morning Lynx and Lauren were faced with a giant list in the kitchen of the daily plans.
1. Finish Unpacking
2. Get ready for the new schoolIt was a short list but the rainbow color that Lynx's mum had printed it on made it really stand out and pop.
The day flew by and the when the unpacking was finished and they were prepared for the school year Lynx and Lauren had nothing left to do but mess around.
Lynx pounced on Lauren and knocked her book that she was reading out of her hands. Lauren was slightly annoyed having at her spot in her book, but couldn't resist her girlfriend's advances. They cuddled up together and discussed what they thought their new school would be like.
