Chapter Ten | 911
•For the first time ever, I'm going to put another POV into the story. So far, this story has only been in Catherine's POV, so it's time to add another one into the mix•
•Jennifer's POV•
"Catherine, NO!" I screamed. I just saw my best friend get hit by a car.
I ran into the middle of the street to help her.
"Catherine..." I whispered while crying over my best friend. I literally thought she was dead. Then I started to pray over her.
Then the driver got out of the car. "Miss, I am so sorry, I was just-"
"HOW COULD YOU?!" I screamed. "You hurt an innocent teenager that you didn't even know! You monster!"
They were so shocked, they couldn't even say anything back to me. I looked up, and noticed that this wasn't even an adult. This was some kid who honestly didn't even look old enough to drive.
"How old are you? 14?" I asked.
The person said, "I'm actually 17. I just got my license and everything, so I was just-"
"You know what," I interrupted. "Get away from me! On second thought, stay here, so I can call the police so they can throw your ass in jail!"
Then, I dialed 911. I had to get help for Catherine. After that, I called Catherine's mom to let her know what happened.
Her mom ran over into the middle of the street. She first stared, like if she was in complete disbelief of what she was seeing. Then she fell to her knees and started to cry really hard.
She was taking this even harder than I was.
•Catherine's POV•
I was on the ground, I think. I honestly couldn't figure out where I was or what happened, because I couldn't even open my eyes to see what was going on.
All I remember was someone screaming, "Catherine, NO!" It scared the heck out of me, but I could recognize just who's voice it was.
It was Jennifer. She was probably sitting over or right next to me, because I could feel her breath on my face.
I then heard sirens, possibly from an ambulance, and judging by how I was being moved, I was being carried on a stretcher.
What had happened to me?
