Chapter Fourteen | A New School?

As we're running to this school, I keep wondering...

Wait, where exactly are we going?

Then Bailey stops and lets go of my hand. Are we already here? I look up, and I see a building float up in the sky. Once I blink though, it's back on the ground again. It's covered in vines and flowers, and it sort of looks like a private school.

Bailey grabs my hand again and walks me to the huge doors of the school. She pushes the huge doors open, and I was so surprised at what I saw.

It looked like a normal school. I was surprised, I would've expected the lockers to be floating or something. All the students attending this school all had wings, just like Bailey. I was different, which gave me the feeling I wasn't going to fit in at this school.

"Wait," I asked. "I don't have a schedule, or any classes. How the heck am I allowed to attend this school?"

"Well, I was going to take you to the Guidance Office so you could get some classes." Bailey said.

"We should probably go now," I suggested.

"Okay!" Bailey said.

When we walked into the Guidance Office, a short woman with wings and dark brown hair walked over to her desk and said, "Hello ladies, how can I help you?"

"I have a friend who is going to be attending this school," Bailey said.
"And this is her," She pointed to me.

"Oh, and what's your name?" The short woman asked me.

"My name is Catherine." I replied.

"Okay, come behind my desk, Catherine, we're going to give you some classes." The short woman said.

"My name is Ms. Bailey, and I'm going to be your Guidance Counselor." She added.

"People at this school joke that we're related," Bailey whispered to me.

"That's funny," I chuckled.

We were in the Guidance Office for only about fifteen minutes. Unfortunately, Bailey isn't in any of my classes, since we aren't even in the same grade.

"Catherine, can I ask you a question?" Bailey asked.

"Sure."

"Would you consider us friends?" She asked.

"No," I said sarcastically. "I would consider us rivals."

After saying that, Bailey started to giggle. Then I started to laugh too.

As Bailey was showing me to my first class, I wasn't looking where I was going, and I bumped into this girl.

Unlike the girls at my "old" school, she was very understanding. But she was standing next to a group of girls who looked a little suspicious of me.

There was a dark haired girl with wings (as usual) with red streaks in her hair, and a sparkly purple backpack. She asked me, "Uh, where are your wings?"

"Denise, don't you think it's a little weird to ask people why they don't have wings?" Bailey said.

"I don't have wings." I said.

"You don't have wings?" Denise gasped. "Are you even a fairy?"

"Uh, I'm a human." I said.

"Oh," Denise said.

Bailey and I walked away.

"Well, that was a little... rude?" I said.

"Oh, don't worry about her. She's just one of those fairies that ask a lot of questions." Bailey said.

"Okay," I replied.

A/N

Sorry if I haven't been updating a lot lately. (again)

I had writer's block! It's so annoying. Also I've been a kinda sad lately, but things have been getting better. :)

I hope you understand why I haven't been able to produce a chapter, but I'll try harder!

Bye!
