Before Angela got inside her Mother's car, she rushed back into the house to hurry and change.
She went into her closet and picked out some clothes. She put on a dark blue sweater with a gray dolphin sequined on the front with blue skinny jeans and gray boots.
"ANGELA HURRY AND GET YOUR BUCKTOOTHED SELF OVER HERE. The sooner we get there, the sooner we fix your crappy teeth."
Angela's eyes slightly watered but she hurried amd wiped them away.
She rushed down the stairs and outside and jumped into the car. As soon as she closed the door, Brenda slammed her foot on the pedal and they squealed away
Brenda took out some sunglasses and handed one to Angela.
Brenda turned towards her and glared. "You better not mess those up."
Angela rolled her eyes and slipped them on because the sun was beginning to hurt her eyes.
After 1 hour, they arrived at the orthodonist and parked in the car.
Brenda got out and grabbed her purse. Angela hurried and followed Brenda inside.
There was a pretty blonde lady with her hair in a bun and red lipstick sitting behind a black desk. She eyed Brenda and Angela up and down and smirked.
"Hello ladies, what can I do for you today?"
Brenda took off her sunglasses and stared at her. "What do you think? We're here for an apointment, obviously."
The lady's eyes narrowed and she said "What is the patient's name?"
Brenda glared at her. "It's Angela." Angela glanced at them back and forth. 'What was going on here?' She thought.
The blonde lady fake typed and made a sad face. "Oh sorry, I don't see her name in the computer. You might have to wait a few hours." She smirked.
Brenda stared at her for a minute before reaching through her purse and slapping down an enormous wad of cash.
"I can buy and sell you. I suggest that you hurry and open up a spot for us."
The lady's eyes were wide as she mumbled a sorry and rushed them to a nurse. "Take good care of them." she said as she rushed off.
The nurse was confused but she turned towards Brenda. "Hello ma'am! How are you doing today?"
Brenda actually smiled and said "Just fine, thank you. We are here to see if Angela needs braces. She obviously does but you know what I mean." They both laughed and Angela just stared at them back and forth. This was the first time Brenda acually liked anyone.
The nurse told Angela "You go ahead and sit right there." She handed Angela some plain clear glasses and she put them on.
The nurse sat down and forced Angela's mouth open. After 2 seconds she quickly got up. "Yep I can tell that she definitely needs braces."
Angela felt really bad as she was poking around her teeth. It made her uncomfortable how she knew that they already know how bad her teeth were.
The lady went and came back with a thing that looked like a tiny shovel and some goo stuff in a bowl.
"Okay I'm going to finish mixing this stuff and then I'm going to put it in this shovel looking thingy and do an impression on your teeth. Don't worry, it tastes kinda like playdough." She gave a reassuring smile to Angela while she felt really uncomfortable.
After she finished mixing the weird goop, Angela made a tiny squeak. Brenda rolled her eyes. "Oh please, don't be a baby. This nice lady just said it's kinda like playdough."
Angela was about to say she acts like playdough taste good but she hesitated and opened her mouth. The nurse shoved the little impression tool into her mouth and pushed it up her mouth to the very top. Angela's eyes popped open and she gagged. She could feel the goop go up her throat.
Suddenly, Angela threw up all over the nurse and some splattered on Brenda.
"Oh my goodness!" the nurse shrieked.
"ANGELA!" Brenda yelled as she frantically wiped off her expensive dress.
The nurse hurried and ran off to change while Brenda stayed and yelled at Angela.
"I can't believe you did that! I bet no one else in history has thrown up over a little impression" Brenda said while shaking her head.
Then they heard someone gag and throw up in the room beside them.
Brenda stared for a minute before saying "Nevermind Angela. Whoops."
Angela shook her head and tried to get the gross taste out of her mouth by stuffing chewable mints inside.
The nurse came back a little irritated.
"Okay we are gonna try this again and let's try not to throw up this time." She tossed the old one in the trash and mixed a new one.
The second one wasn't so bad and before she knew it, her braces were on. They didn't have to put an expander or separators in her teeth or anything because her teeth had enough gaps.
When they got in the car, Angela was touching her braces with her tongue uncomfortably.
Brenda saw her and said "Oh don't worry, your mouth won't poke out like a duck and hurt in probably 3 days and let's see what your little supermodel boyfriend says about it." She said as she smirked.
Angela rolled her eyes. She knew that she was jealous of her and Javier anyways.
As they drove home, Angela was finally happy that she got her braces and her teeth would be perfect soon.
