it was a sunday afternoon and they were at her house talking about random things.
you were laying on her bed staring at her ceiling.
you asked her if you should ask her out. she didn't know what to say so she stayed silent.
you told her how she makes you feel.
her heart was slowly breaking when you were talking about her.
you had no idea how she was feeling. you kept saying how she has a beautiful smile and how she is such a nice person.
she couldn't take it anymore. she asked you if you could leave since "she wasn't feeling good."
you nodded your head getting off her bed. you kissed her on her forehead and walked out of her room.
she waited until you were out of her house when she wiped the almost non existent tears away.
you wondered why she was acting so weird lately. anytime you brought up another girl she goes silent.
you loved her like a sister and you were worried about her.
you walked on the sidewalk, thinking about a way to talk to her.
you both had been best friends since elementary and you wished that she would open up to you.
what you didn't know is that she loved you.
you never felt that like for her and you never would.
you would always think of her as a friend.
nothing more.
