you eventually calmed down.
afterward she could see you start getting nervous.
you were ringing your hands and messing with your hair.
after knowing you for so long she knew what you were feeling by simple gestures.
you were pacing back and forth.
you should never had lashed out at her. you shouldn't have gotten so angry.
you hoped that you didn't hurt her too much.
but the saddest part of it all was that everything you said was true.
you kept opening and closing your mouth as if you wanted to say something.
in the end you left without saying anything.
she saw you walk away, leaving her there all alone.
she couldn't get those words out her head.
you used to like her. but now you felt nothing.
you left her there, confused.
she stayed there waiting for you to come back.
she hoped this was just a dream.
she needed the pain to go away.
she walked back home with dark thoughts clouding her mind.
she kept telling herself that you didn't want her because she was nothing.
she was so much prettier than her.
no wonder you liked her. she was beautiful and smart and funny.
she wasn't ugly but she was nothing compared to her.
she made a mental list of all her flaws making her feel worse.
she new that she should've vanished from your life.
she knew that you would accidently destroy her.
no matter how much her mind was telling her to leave you alone and never speak to you again, her heart wanted to stay with you.
you needed someone to talk to.
you needed to hear another person's opinion on what to do next.
you felt bad for leaving her there.
but you felt even worse since you didn't regret saying any of it.
