you followed her home again.
you tried to catch her during school but as usual she avoided you at all costs.
you tapped on her shoulder and she turned with disappointment in her eyes.
you said that you were sorry for bugging her when you said you would give her time.
she just shrugged you off and continued walking home.
you went in front of her to stop her from walking any further.
she was angry that you had the audacity to talk to her after what you've done.
she started getting frustrated when you wouldn't move out of her way.
a tear almost escaped her eye but she wiped it away before you could notice.
you started telling her how you are sorry and how you don't deserve her.
you only wanted her to answer one question for you and you would disappear from her life forever.
she obliged and started walking to her backyard.
you followed her, knowing exactly how to walk at her pace.
you tried to put your arm over her shoulders but she flinched away.
it stung your heart but you kept telling yourself that you deserved her hate.
she climbed up the ladder that led to her tree house and you followed.
once both of you were inside she scooted to the farthest side, putting the most space between you guys.
it was silent for awhile before you finally asked the question that clouded your thoughts for months.
you asked her why she drifted off from you.
her face went pale since she knew it would come up one time or another.
she wiped her hands on her pants as she was getting ready to reveal the secret she had been keeping since she was 7.
when she finally said it your heart dropped to the pit of your stomach.
