Rena has always been fascinated with the house on the hill and the mystery surrounding it, but never before has she ever had the courage to enter it, however tonight would be the night she would put her fears aside and enter it.
As Rena pushed the front door, the creak of the hinges echoed throughout the house, nevertheless she continued on her way.
She became so entranced with the intricate design of the ceiling that she didn't realize she was being followed.
Suddenly she came to grips with the fact that she indeed was deep in the house and there was a cold breeze coming into the room she turned around and bumped into a man who immediately used his hands to steady her.
"Who are you?"
"I should be asking you that question since I am the owner of the house"
Rena knew she was trespassing but her curiousness got the better of her.
"This house has been vacant for years, and so it has been told the last owner of this house hung himself and didn't have any family left, so you couldn't possibly own this house"
Alex stared at this woman and thought to himself he had never seen a woman so beautiful in his entire life.
"If you must know, the guy did have family, his brother, who begot me so the guy who died here would be my uncle and I his nephew, since no other family members had even had the heart to occupy the house because of the mystery surrounding it I decided to occupy it"
Rena could tell this guy was telling the truth even though she didn't know him "since you say this house belongs to I guess I am trespassing so I'll leave"
She turned to go but he grabbed her hand and she turned to face him " what is your name?"
"Rena" she replied
"I am Alex"
Rena could not believe what was happening for some apparent reason she really wanted to kiss this guy.
Out of the blue he dipped his head and his lips touched hers, the kiss was gentle at first but when he saw she was not pushing him away he deepened the kiss until they were actually making out, when Alex could take no more of this his hand reached for the first button on her shirt she grabbed his hand
"Don't"
Alex looked at her and replied " I am sorry I thought you wanted this"
Rena knew deep down inside she wanted this to go further but she also knew she couldn't do it she just couldn't make love to a stranger.
"This is crazy, I don't know you and you certainly don't know me, I have to go"
She turned to walk away he grabbed her hand " will I see you again, is there anyway I can contact you, like a number, an address or something"
She turned to face him "No I can't ever see you again" and she walked away into the night.
