Lily's POV:

I could hardly believe my eyes as I was in the common room, as I watched a bloody and injured James Potter, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew carry in a tired and scratched all over Remus Lupin, and even more terrifying bloody Teresa.

I lept up immediately and ran over, almost screaming my head off, when James clapped a hand over my mouth and gave me a "are you stupid?" look. I shook him off and glared at him, before realizing that he had 4 long claw marks across his face.

I gave him a concerned look and took his face in my hands. Surprised, he squirmed but a grin spread across his face. I realized what was happening, and let go. Again, I stepped closer to him and gently touched the edge of the scars. He hissed in pain.

4 claws across the face must have hurt, but it couldn't have made him that uncomfortable, could it? This was the guy who got hit by a Bludger in the soft spot while playing Quidditch.

I peered closer, before dabbing a finger at one scar and recoiling as smoke curled from my fingers. His face was turning slightly green. I looked at it even closer and released that the blood from his scars were slightly purple.

Poison.

I immediately started giving orders.

"Peter, go to my dorm room and call out Adelaide. Then go down to the kitchens and get some ice water. Remus, sit down at that sofa, and Sirius, if you could be a dear-"

He snickered at the word. "Deer, James, get it? Deer."

I rolled my eyes. "Sirius, shut the hell up. Go to the Hospital Wing and sneak out some of the medicine. The correct ones should be in the cabinet that James and Marlene got trapped in, in a clear jar on the left shelf."

"Yes, ma'am!" he saluted and sprinted out before dashing back in to retrieve a parchment and a cloak of some sorts.

Remus collapsed on the sofa, limp and barely breathing. I threw a light blanket over him and tossed him a pillow, at which he feebly said, "Thanks, Lils."

I nodded curtly, and then faced James who was watching me, amused. I glared at him and snapped, "Get Teresa over here."

He ruffled his hair, grinned, and picked Teresa up as if she weighed nothing at all. He set her down on a nearby sofa and stood back to watch.

I grasped her hand like it was a lifeline and said sadly, "What did you do Teresa?"

James looked guilty but sad as he gazed at her. He walked out of the common room and came back quickly holding a bucket of hot water and some towels. I smiled up at him gratefully and wet one, laying it across her forehead, where she was pale, stiff, and cold.

Remus was already out cold, snoring like his life depended on it.

Adelaide stumbled down the stairs from my dorm room, where we were having a mini sleepover instead of at the proper Gryffindor common room where they should have been.

"Lily?" she asked, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, "what's happening? Peter burst in and I bloody had to shove him out and all while I put on a proper pair of pajama pants instead of my shorts. It was lucky that Alice didn't wake up. Marlene sleeps like she's in a coma and-"

Her eyes trailed over to where I saw sitting next to Teresa and she gasped. "Teresa!"

She scanned the entire room, finally landing on Remus who was snoring quite loud. Adeladie stared at him for a couple minutes. Finally she burst out laughing and rolling on the floor.
