Your Ex And Your Daughter Rya (Rye-ah)
Today Taji was picking up our 15 year old daughter Rya and I knew it was gonna be stressful since this would be the first time Niall wouldn't actually be staying for the pick up.
"RYA MAE CHOI HURRY UP!" I screamed from down the staircase making Niall laugh from where he sat which was from on the couch.
"What's so funny Mr.Horan?"
"Oh nothing it's just you gave Rya such a unique name!" He says holding back more laughter.
"Wow laughing at your own step-daughters name that hurts Dad!" Rya says coming down the staircase a smile on her face.
"No sweetheart I'm not laughing at you more of the fact your name is based on simple names" he says laughing but Rya seat there crossed arms her head tilted.
"Dad that's not my full full name it's actually shortened" she says making me nod in agreement because boy did Taji over do her full name!
"Then what is it?" He ask curiously eyebrow cocked in amusement. That's when she put her bag down stretching for the long ass name.
"It's Rya-Lin-Mae that's my first name. Valencia-Raine thats my middle name and Choi is my last name" she says picking up her Nike bag filled with everything from this past week.
"So what you are say is you full name is Rya-Lin-Mae Valencia-Raine Choi?!" He says out of breath after the first few names.
"Yep!" She says popping the p.
"How could you?!" Niall says his face slightly red after trying to repeat it multiple times.
"How could I what?" I ask giggling.
"Name her with such a long but beautiful name nether less."
"I didn't Taji did now go before your late for sound check" I say pushing him out of e door. 20 minutes later just when I was about to sit down was when the door bell rang which I was guessing Taji. I opened it to see him smoking a cigarette in his hand and one of my ex best friends Rosie Hernandez sitting in his car.
"Where is my daughter bitch!" He sneers pushing me out the way like he always does.
"She's in the living room waiting for you" I say rolling my eyes.
"Who are you talking to?"
"I was talking to you!" I say smugly giving him a eye roll. Out of nowhere he grabs my face pushing me down.
"Hey don't do that to my mom asshole!" I hear Rya say then a smacking sound.
"Don't you ever disrespect me like that you know what happened last time!" He says grabbing her jaw roughly. Now it all made since the faded bruises and whips they were all from my ex boyfriend Taji. I stood up punching him in the jaw he only stumbled but got back up pulling out a knife holding it to Rya's neck.
"Take one more step I promise to God I will slit her throat and not give one damn it's not like I wanted this disgrace anyway" I tried stepping closer but he pressed the knife deeper making Rya cry out in pain and fear. I backed away with my hands up. All I could think was how the hell was I gonna save my daughter life without risking mines?
