You and his family stood waiting for Liam to walk out. Geoff and Karen held up a sign that read his name in big bold black letters. You stood on you tiptoe looking high to see the boy you fell in love with since you were 18 years old. That's when you saw him he sprinted toward you as you squealed in happiness. He engulfed in a tight hug burying his face into your neck inhaling your scent that he missed for many months. Your brown eyes let go of the salty tears that you held for many lonely nights without him.The entire time he was deployed you were thinking about Liam and wondering if he died,got kidnapped,or hurt during this tragic war time period.
"I missed you so much!" You said hugging him with as much strength you had.
"I missed you too I though about you the entire time" he kissed you passionately finally letting go when Geoff coughed quite loudly. You wiped you eyes standing next to Ruth,Karen,and Nicola as him and his father hugged and talked. After the joyous meeting everyone hopped in the car were they were welcomed with big banners and people welcoming all of the soldiers. The rest of the day they had a great time filling Liam on the latest gossip,eating a very large home cooked meal,and spending time with the people he loves. When everyone left Y/n and Liam were left lying into each other's arms watching tv.
