The next morning I woke up at around eight and stretched, laying on my back. Well, today is going to be interesting, I thought to myself. I swung my legs around, over the side of the bed and sat drinking a bottle of water I had on my nightstand. When I finished the water I got up and went into the bathroom doing my normal morning routine.

For clothes I decided to just throw on some grey yoga pants, black sports bra, black trainers that had white stripes running along them and threw up my hair since I was planning on going for a jog.

When I arrived at the kitchen, there was a few omegas in the kitchen making breakfast and they said their greetings. I smiled at them, saying a quick hello. I grabbed a granola bar and another bottle of water from the fridge. I walked out of the kitchen nibbling the bar while flicking threw my phone. Paying more attention to my phone and food rather than where I was walking, I suddenly smacked into a hard chest. I tensed up in panic. Please don't be Callum , I thought to myself. When I looked up I breathed out in relief as I realised it was Casey.

"Morning, beautiful" he said smiling at me. "You okay?" He must have noticed me tense up.

"Good morning. I'm fine, thank you. Can I get through please?" I asked politely.

"Why? I told you I'd give you a day." he raised an eyebrow.

"You said that last night" I returned, with a smirk

"I never said how long the day would be or what I class as a day" he smirked back.

I huffed in defeat. " Please could you move out of my way so I can go for my morning jog? Thank you." I said trying to push past him but he wrapped his arm around my waist, sparks erupting everywhere he was touching. My wolf was purring in my head and to be honest I enjoyed the contact too.

"I said I wasn't going to leave your side and I wasn't joking," he warned, suddenly all serious. I gulped neverously.

"Alpha Casey. Trust me I'll be fine on my own for a little bit longer," I laughed, awkwardly.

"What is your problem?" he groaned, looking down at me. "Why are you so persistent in getting away from me?"

I sighed. "I don't have a problem. I told you. I just need some time to process everything."

His face finally softened and he nodded. "Okay. I understand I'm being a little over bearing. I just don't want to lose you. You have no idea how long I've been searching for you," he admitted. I nodded in response and was about to leave when my dad came to the scene.

"What on earth is going on here!?" he demanded me.

"In fact I don't want to hear it! Annabelle get to your room now and don't come back out until I say so!" he growled. I frowned but then I remembered that Alpha Casey still had his arm wrapped around me and it would probably look a little scetchy to any on looker.

"Oh no! Dad you've got the wrong idea!" I tried to defend myself and moved away from Casey who released me from his grip.

"I don't want to hear your excuses Annabelle! Get to your room. Now!"

From the corner of the hallway I could see Callum smirking at me and the scene unfolding in front of him. I growled lowly. That son of a bitch. What the hell has he said?

The way dad was speaking to me clearly wasn't appreciated by Casey who growled so loudly, I think the next state could have heard it. I cringed away from the sound and unconsciously took a few steps away from him.

"Don't talk to her like that!" he growled his eyes flicking between black to their normal colour, obviously trying to control his wolf.

My dad and myself, looked at Casey in shock. Oh no. Please don't tell him, please don't tell him, I chanted in my head, hoping he didn't tell my dad we are mates. I also didn't fail to notice the shock on Callum's face. Ha!

"How dare you speak to my mate like that!" he growled. I mentally face palmed. That was not the way I wanted my parents to find out.

My dad looked bewildered. "What? How?-"

"Well a long time ago when th-" Casey began to explain.

"Yes, I know how!" my dad cut him off. "Annabelle, my office. Now."

I looked between the two of them and sighed, there was no use in me me arguing so I did as I was told. On the way to the office I heard my dad and Casey speaking, more than likely about me, but couldn't be bothered to listen.

I got to dad's office and sat down on the sofa. The longer I waited, the more nervous I got.

Relax. He will be overjoyed that we found our mate. Atilla tried to reassure me. I just shrugged.

We will soon find out.

The door opened and dad walked in with an emotionless face. I hated it when he did that. I couldn't read his emotions and it annoyed me that I couldn't read him. I didn't know if to brace myself for him to go off at me or not.

"Why didn't you tell me?" he asked sitting down in his chair.

"I only found out last night and I was going to reject him" I shrugged. Dad looked at me like I had three heads.

"You always talked about how much you wanted a mate and when you get one, you don't even give him a chance?" he said, more like questioned.

" Dad it's not like we are speaking about just my mate. We are speaking about the strongest Alpha in the world who is know to be completely emotionless and ruthless! I'm scared of him!" I exclaimed.

"Sweetheart, they're just rumours. He is a lovely guy but he doesn't let it show. He may be the strongest Alpha but that doesn't mean he is evil," he chuckled a bit at the last part. "Come on. Give the guy a chance. Don't judge a book by it's cover. I thought I taught you better than that."

"I can't be his mate dad! I'm not strong enough. I'm supposed to be his equal. How am I supposed to be that when he could probably break me with his freaking finger!" I groaned.

" Sweetie, you are one of the strongest people I know. You will be an amazing Luna. You're loyal, loving, great with kids and just amazing. Just give him a chance. You never know, you might fall in love and have kids one day. In fact, I'm pretty certain you will" he said smiling.

I sighed. "Okay. I'll give him a chance. If he messes up that chance I'm coming home and I'm not going to give him another"

"That's fair enough but I can assure you, he won't" he smiled.
