Lena sat in her chair drumming her fingers against the desk waiting for everyone to leave. Once they had all gone, Professor Parvivi came over to Lena's desk and pulled up a chair.
"Okay Lena, I'm going to need you to tell me what you Saw." Professor Parvivi said urgently to Lena.
"Well, there was a castle thing on a cliff and there was the ocean underneath them. There was a man and a woman but I couldn't see her face. And they said I was learning who I was and to tell that when the moon was bright and full not to attack." Lena explained.
"Thank you. I will call you in later. What do you have for your next class?"
"Umm..." Lena quickly checked her schedule, "It's Control."
"Well, then you can stay here for a bit. I'll bring you there so you have a teacher's excuse."
"On my first day?" she squeaked. Lena didn't like a lot of attention from people unless they were her friends, so she was kind of freaking out today.
"Yes. I'll be right back." Professor Parvivi disappeared down the hallway. A few moments later she returned with another woman at her heels.
"Hello Lena,I'm the head of the school, Madam Arach. Tell me what you need to." Madam Arach was very tall and slightly scary, but at the same time comforting. She had gray/blonde hair up in a bun and was dressed in a pencil skirt and business jacket.
"Like, what I told Professor Parvivi?" Lena was a bit freaked out, not having any idea what was going on.
"Yes darling." Before Lena had a chance to say something, Professor Parvivi whispered something that Lena couldn't hear in Madam Arach's ear. "Really?" Madam Arach said, and Professor Parvivi nodded, "All right. Lena. We have reasons to believe that you are the second Seer to ever come into existence."
The whole world seemed to spin into a big whirl of color and then all stand still lena was feeling a but dizzy, so she took a deep breath and murmured to no one in particular,"But it can't be me... I'm not special and I certainly don't have a super rare Power."
"Lena," Madam Arach said firmly, "I know this must be hard for you to accept but you are a Seer, there's no way around it. I can't stop it, you can't stop it, no one can."
"What...?" Lena wasn't processing very well at the moment. Her whole world had changed in just a few days, and now she was a celebrity among Vampires, well at least these, but soon it would be all over the school and then all over the world, the Vampire's world and it could possibly get into the mortal world in some way or another and NO! She didn't want it to be like this! She didn't want to be hugely popular and always in the spotlight.
"My dear, Lena, you were just born like this." Madam Arach explained.
"But I don't want to save everybody or have the future of everyone in my hands!"
"Well, when the big battle if there is one comes you will probably save everybody, since you already learned a key part of the battle plan in you dreamlike experience."
"What?" Lena asked, confused, having not understood any of that.
"What you Saw was not to attack someone when the moon was full because it would only work to their advantage. I can only imagine that means something about Werewolves."
"That's cool... I guess." she mumbled.
"You had better get along to class now, but Professor Parvivi will bring you to talk to me later on." With that, Madam Arach left the room.
