The room slowly came into focus, kind of like when you have one of those big fancy cameras and you zoom out or in so that everything is blurry and then all at once it just goes perfectly clear.

Lena was lying down in a queen-sized bed with a massive fluffy comforter. The walls were painted a light pastely pink, there was a small bedside table with a lamp, two chairs, and there was a small white shag rug sitting just to the right of the bed. At first, Lena thought she was at Half Moon or maybe even a really nice part of a Vampire hospital, being treated for hallucinating that she was kidnapped and chloroformed. Then, she noticed the lack of windows and doors and started to doubt the fact that she hallucinated it.

Why the hell was I even kidnapped on a school trip, if I was kidnapped? I haven't entirely figured out my Power yet and I don't really know how to do anything... It could have to do with the fact that I'm a Seer, though. But maybe this is just part of WIlderness Week and you have to learn how to get out of being kidnaped and all of that and it's just part of Vampire education!

Part of the wall opened and closed immediately behind a woman wearing a white lab coat. She had the classic look of blonde hair and blue eyes, her blonde hair was curled up in a big bun with lots of bobby pins and not a hair out of place. She was carrying a clipboard and a pen and had something in one of her pockets.

"Hello, Lena!" She chirruped, "Glad to see you're up now." She scribbled something on her clipboard as Lena sat up in the bed.

"Why am I here? And who are you? And where am I?" Lena asked quickly, not sure whether or not she should trust this woman.

"I'm Meredith, and I'll be your specialist. Now, how are you feeling?"

"I'm fine... You didn't really answer any of my questions." Lena pointed out suspisciously.

"I will later. Now, we've just got to run a few tests, love." She smiled at Lena and pulled out a needle and sterilizing kit, "I've just got to take some blood." Lena watched in horror as she approached her with the needles. "Afaid?" She asked, not sounding very sympathetic.

"Um, a bit." Lena responded, feeling very uncomfortable.

Meredith took a remote out of her pocket and pressed a few buttons. Lena felt something slithering over her ankles and wrists, and before she really had time to do anything, she was shackled to the bed. It didn't hurt too much, but she was pretty sure if she jerked around she would get really bad chafing. Meredith swiped her arm with a sterilizing wipe and took the cap off of a needle. She then proceeded to plunge it into Lena's arm, and blood began to flow through some tubes into a container. Lena didn't know quite how long she had been lying there, but she began to feel quite faint.
