“Why are there dungeons here?” Lena asked, looking around at the slimy gray stones.
“The Moon schools were both castles at one point, they’ve just been remodeled a lot. No one ever took out the dungeons or remodeled them, so they’re really gross and old and freezing and it’s the worst place to have to go.” Quoim explained.
“You two are some of the worst troublemakers we’ve had in a long time...” Madam Iri said with a tight smile, “Of course, I do believe your sister, Nadine, was quite bad enough when she was your age. Now, since you two were definitely not supposed to be in there, you’ll have to be punished. Wilderness Week... no, you won’t miss Wilderness Week. The rivalry there is always wonderful.” Quoim let out a small groan: apparently she had heard some stories about Wilderness Week from Nadine. “Now, unfortunately, it seems that the...” She glanced down at the clipboard she was holding, “Bathrooms have not been cleaned in a while. Alright, you’ll be cleaning bathrooms. All of them.”
“Even the ones that the boys are using?” Quoim asked, not covering up her disgust in cleaning up their bathrooms.
“Especially the ones the boys are using! You wouldn’t want the guests to be getting the idea that we aren’t clean here!” Madam Iri smiled again, and something beeped, “Well, I’m needed elsewhere. Goodbye! I suggest you get back to your room as soon as possible to avoid getting into more trouble.”
“Wow. We even missed 11:11. That was pretty bad.” Quoim commented.
Lena only yawned and pushed the door to their room open. It was quiet... either their awful roommates weren’t there at the moment or they were sleeping.
Lena pulled her shoes off and climbed into bed, fully clothed. It didn’t take long to go to sleep. She dreamt of dirty bathrooms.

When Lena woke up, she immediately felt awful. “Quoim!” she practically shrieked.
“What?” Quoim answered groggily.
“Calista.”
“She’s here?” Quoim’s head shot up from the pillows, looking around, and she rubbed her neck, looking uncomfortable.
“No, she’s not!” Lena said miserably, “And that’s the problem. It’s been two weeks, and what are we supposed to do about this? She’s not here, still. We can’t get a message to her, we can’t See her... anything! She could be dead by now even, stuck in that stupid castle!”
“Castle...” Quoim muttered.
“What did you say?”
“Castle... Oh my god! Castle! How did I not see this before?!” Quoim shrieked, jumping straight out of bed, but she got tangled in her comforter and fell onto the floor with a loud thump.
“Shut the fuck up! Some people are trying to sleep here!” Rella shrieked at the two of them, sticking her head out of the trapdoor in the ceiling.
