"Just order what you want and don't look at the price 'because I will pay for it." Patrick told me as I look at the menu that was infront of me.

"Dapat lang dahil ang mahal mahal kaya dito no." I mumbled silently as I scan the menu. Kasi naman sa lahat ng pwede niyang pagdalhan sa akin para mag lunch dito pa niya ako dinala sa Bar 21. Bar 21 being one of the well known local restaurant in Bacolod and allos a bit expensive for my wallet's taste. I love food, I really do who doesn't anyway but I am now unemployed thus being in a expensive café is not on my budget at the moment. Ang kaya lang ng wallet ko ay thirty niners ng Jollibee.

"So ano ang order mo?" He suddenly asked.

"Oh wait." I scanned intensely the menu and look for the most expensive one there but still something I could eat. Libre na din naman niya diba? Kaya bakit hindi ko na lubos lubosin ang grasya sa harap ko. If you are in my situation you would surely do the same "I'll have the lamb with curry rice and the toasted ravioli."

He arched a brow at me as I said it and a smile creep on my lips. "Bakit? May problema ka ba sa order ko?"

Umiiling siya with amusement in his face. "No, I was just quite surprise with your order."

Ako naman ang napataas ng kilay dahil sa sinabi niya. "At bakit naman?"

"I never thought na ganito ka pala katakaw kumain." He simply said.

"Aba! Bastos ka ha!" Kumuha ako ng isang tissue at nilukot yon tapos tinapon sa kanya na namumula ang pisngi. God, hindi pa niya alam na its not appropriate to comment on a girl about her appetite?

Natawa lang ito at tinawag na ang waiter. Ako naman ay pulang pula pa din ang pisngi at hiyang hiya sa sarili. My plan back fired on me, letse. I should have ordered something simple but still delicious.

Patrick told the waiter our order and as the waiter left that awkward silenece had yet again envelopes the both of us. I don't know why but it is always seem to be awkward between the two of us. Maybe because there's a feelling involed? Because of the past? Or ako lang talaga yon? May pagkafeeler lang kasi ako kung minsan.

"So kamusta ang exam?" Pagbasag niya ng katahimikan.

"It was okay." Sagot ko. "It was your typical entrance exam. Pero hindi nga lang ako sure kung enough ang mga sagot ko para makapasa. But my classmates before who are already studying their proceeding years right now said that this exam was just for formality pero hindi ko pa din alam kung sigurado yon."

"You will pass, I know it. Ikaw pa." He confidently commented.

Napailing ako. "Ako pa na halos tatlong taon na hindi na nakapag aral, kinakalawang na nga ata ang utak ko eh."

"Don't say that, you do know that learning doesn't stop at school right? For sure you had learn something in your previous job."

"Of course naman meron but I am not sure that what I had learned there will be applicable in my study now. Ano ba naman ang relasyon ng mga testing na pinaggagawa naming sa magiging subjects jo ngayon, for sure wala." I negatively reasoned out to him.
