It is hard to be in the same room with someone you are avoiding because of a certain feeling you feel for them but it is harder when you are in the same table eating together. Especially if he is with his girlfriend. At nakakaiirita pa kung grabe makalandi ang girlfriend sa tao na yon, like now.

"Babe, diba favorite mo tong chopsuey? Gusto mo suboan kita?" Malanding este malambing na sabi ni Jennifer kat Patrick na parang walang ibang tao sa table. But Patrick just look at her and just shrugged his shoulder.

I don't want to be mean really but this girl is really getting into my nerves. And I don't know why. Maybe it is because she's with Patrick? Or dahil pinapakita niya talaga sa akin na siya ang girlfriend ni Patrick. It like every time I would glance at them she would look at me with a smug "I have what you want" look on her face. Or I am just overthinking this because I'm jealous?

"Hey Aly, are you okay?"

Napakisap ako ng mata tapos napatingin kay Alex na nasa aking tabi. I gave him a timid smile. "Yeah, okay lang ako."

"Good, akala ko kasi hindi dahil parang papatayin mo pa ulit ang letson sa plato mo eh." He told me amusedly.

Napatingin ako bigla sa aking plato at napaluwag ng hawak sa kubyertos na hawak. "Sorry, medyo matigas eh." Nahihiyang paliwanag ko. Pero sa totoo parang malambot naman ang pagkakaluto nito.

"Here, let me help you." Alex moves his chair closer to me and took the fork and spoon from my hand then cut the meat with ease. "There, madali lang naman pala. Now say ah." He cooed.

Tinginan ko siya ng masama at sinaway. "Alex ano ba, I can eat by myself."

Pero imbes na tumigil ay mas lumapit pa ito sa akin at bumulong. "Just humor me on this one Aly. And Patrick is watching but don't look mahahalata niya tayo."

I blushed at what he whispered and look up to him with curiousity. "Why are you doing this?"

"Like I said, just humor me." He smiled mischeviously. "Now say ah, sige na."

May magagawa pa na ba ako? Napabuntong hininga na lang ako at binuka ang bibig para masuboan niya.

"Good girl." He winked.

"Sipain kita dyan eh, ginawa mo pa akong aso." Singhal ko sa kanya pagkatapos manguya yong laman ng letchon at natawa lang naman ito.

"You are really something Alyssa." Sambit niya bago ako inakbayan tapos bumaling kay Patrick. "Alyssa is really something right Pat?" Tanong nito.

Seryosong napatingin sa akin si Patrick at uminit ang buong mukha ko sa tingin niya. "Yeah, she really is something. Tell me Alex, paano kayo nakakilala ni Alysssa?" Tanong niya kay Ales pero nasa akin pa din ang tingin niya.

"Alyssa was one of my coworker back in Laguna. She was my trusty technician." Sagot ni Alex tapos napatingin sa akin at kumindat. I just rolled my eyes at him.

"Was?" Sabat ni Jennifer na nakataas ang kilay sa akin.

"Yes was." I smiled at her. Why? Got a problem with that? "I resigned kasi."

"Nagresigned kasi si Alyssa para makapag-aral ulit." Pagdagdag ni Alex para sa akin. "You see, Alyssa here." Hinawakan ni Alex ang kamay ko at napakunot ako sa kanya. He just smiled and continued. "Is a very reliable employee, hardworking and very flexible on her line of work. Sayang nga at nagresigned siya but all of us in the office knowd that she need to pursue her dreams."
