(Sarah's POV)
I was pacing around. What exactly had I done? What... Why did I turn on Chronic?
I stared at the bowl of Oran Berries in front of me, as if doing so would give me an answer. And of course, nothing came to me. I then picked a berry out of the bowl and ate it.
"You're trying to decide if you made the right choice, aren't you?"
I jumped, and turned around and saw Lia. "Arceus.... You scared me Lia... But yes. You are right..."
She sighed and sat down next to me. "Of course you are. It's only natural. After all, you were going to have to make a choice at some point, and I thought that the earlier said choice was made, the better off both sides would be."
I shook my head. "You may think that, but being forced to make a decision... One that I might later regret in a moment's notice? That... I'm not sure if that was the right thing to do..."
Lia gave me a look. "What? When did Chronic tell you about the second Prophecy?"
I closed my eyes as a single tear rolled down my cheek. "He... He only told me about the Prophecy of Oblivion the other day..."
"... Oh. So is that why you feel like you were forced into making a decision?"
I nodded, wiping the tear from my face. "Y-yeah. Actually, can I ask you a question, Lia?"
She nods. "Yeah. Of course you can. Go right ahead."
I hesitated for a moment before replying. "L-Lia, would you mind if I were to go and talk to Chronic, and treat him as if we were on the same side?"
Lia smiled and took my head. "Of course I wouldn't mind, Sarah. Although I do have one thing I need you to promise me, alright?"
I nodded. "Of course. After all, you technically are my boss, after all."
Lia chuckled a bit. "Alright, then. My one condition is that you cannot knowingly help him escape, such as giving him the keys to the cell and so on. Understand?"
I nodded. "Of course. I never really had any intentions of doing so anyways."
"I know that Sarah, but even I must take precautions."
With a nod, I went off to the cells.

I went over to the cells, and sighed, as I saw that Chronic was sleeping.
I silently opened the cell and went in, and shut the door. I then closed my eyes, and made myself a an Umbreon Pokehuman, and as such, gained Umbreon ears and an Umbreon tail.
Once that was done, I sat next to Chronic where he was resting, and gently repositioned him so his head was resting in my lap.
I gently stroked his hair as tears rolled down my face. I had acted on impulses, and I knew from experience why I made the choice that I made.
===
Allow me to quickly explain what I mean.
My Pokemon Journey began in Hoenn, as it was where I lived. I was torn between choosing Treecko and Mudkip. I went to bed that night thinking about getting Mudkip.
The next day, Dad took me to Birch's lab, and without hesitation, I picked Mudkip as my Starter.
You see, give me more than one decision, and limited time to choose, I defaultly pick whatever was last on my mind.

I sighed, and my hands started to tremble a bit. Would Chronic accept this? Would he accept the fact that my decision was made based on my flaws? Or... Or would he hate me for it? Whatever the answer was, I knew I was going to find out fairly soon, as Chronic was starting to wake up.
He let out groan, and looked up at me. "S-Sarah? What are you doing in here?"
I wiped some of the tears from my face, and helped him sit up. "Chronic... I'm sorry... My decision... It was made because-"
He cut me off. "Sarah, I don't care why you made your choice. Can... Can you answer a question for me, though?"
I nodded. "Y-yeah. What is it?"
He sighed, and since he was sitting next to me, it was easy for him to sweep hair out of my face, which he did, and I blushed a bit. "Sarah... Do... Do you still truly love me?"
I had no hesitation with my answer. "O-of course I do, Chronic. Why would you think I didn't?"
"I... I have my reasons."
He then surprised me by kissing me, and I kissed back. He grabbed my hands, and I became dizzy, and passed out.
